Hi, sorry I've been missing but been having a bit of a time of it with the kids and also hurt my back so been to see the osteopath. Good news is I'm feeling much better now and as long as I'm careful can carry on as normal.

Sorry, haven't gone through previous posts but hugs to all who need one - got to dash as got to take DS to his first ever school friend's birthday party at soft play - it'll be manic I think!!

I'm still here too just haven't had time to post for a few days. House is getting messier by the second. Most of house hasn't been cleaned for going on 2 weeks!

DS has been keeping me up at all hours. DD is shattered from starting school so having major mood swings. I'm shattered.

I have been declutttering big time via ebay. Now have a problem with a nasty, and I suspect, dodgy seller  Getting pretty disallusioned (spelling?! my brain isn't working!!) with it all. Think I may just bag up what's left and get rid apart from a few big bits which could wait for the next free listing weekend.

Helen - hope your DH gets the job.

Sorry haven't really caught up on rest of the news, only read back a few posts. Hope everyone else is well.

    Good Evening Messies

I am shocked we had dropped to page 3

Disappointing day for me, I got to watch the sun out the window and literally the minute I stepped outside the rain started pouring down :( how rubbish is that! So I am having the evening off and I will worry about the house tomorrow.

    Morning :D

The rain is lashing down here today and I so wanted to have a day out in the garden pottering and relaxing. Guess I will just have to find other relaxing things to do indoors. So far I have only opened all the windows and started on the ever growing pile of laundry . No chance of getting it outside to dry so I am going to have to use the tumble dryer to get it all sorted. The house is not too bad today mess wise but it does need a good clean.

I seem to be coming down with a cold though and I feel a bit rubbish :(

Morning messies, after feeling under the weather yesterday and getting very little done (thank goodness for that extra day off) I am feeling much better this morning, so starting the day on a positive note and planning to:

take all old kitchen trash to the tip

take out all the suckers in the garden (I'm a wildlife gardener, but if I don't do this twice a year it's not a garden any more, it's one big bramble thicket)

have an NSD to start October

ignore the rest of the mess and enjoy the weird weather!

I won't be joining the rest of the country in the ritual sacrifice to the sun of burned animal meat but will be cooking the pack of cumberland sausages I bought and froze at better than half price a while ago, and making a very MSE mountain of parsnip and carrot mash with the four bags of parsnips I got for 19p each a few days ago to have with the sausages (one per meal) and some pearl barley risotto.

So my home is still a mess but when the garden looks good and is all done, I feel so much better. The dust bunnies can frolic and scamper and have their wicked way with my home for another day!

Lovely sunny day here and our village is planting bluebells in the centenary field - my husband is an Explorers leader and him and a few from the group are doing a barbecue. We're waiting for him to pick us up and we'll all be off armed with burgers and sun hats! People from my church are going too so lots of chatting will be going on :).

Think the housework is going to have to wait as got 3 typing jobs to do too and [STRIKE]a stack of ironing[/STRIKE] a couple of shirts to do.

    Have a lovely day Messies!
