You must surely come from Somerset way? We used to call them 'daps', too (I'm originally from Weston-super-Mare), and most people think I'm mad when they hear that! It's great to hear the word again - takes me back to my school days, many summers ago!
Yep, I'm originally Cornish but now live in Bristol so pretty much west country really. Glad I could take you back!
Not done anything since my last post - been playing with DS with his Action Men. He went around shooting the others with their toy guns but I told him it's really not nice and wouldn't it be lovely if we did a little picnic for them instead - which we did. Much more civil.
Lunch and then MUST hit the shops as no car tomorrow.Flymarkeeteer: £168 and counting0 -

Little black plimsolls young children use for PE with a velcro fastening at the front - know what I mean? In my day (*cough* years ago) they had an elastic panel at the front so you can slip them on and off easily.
Never did get to the shops - DS been a handful, alternating between crying and angry so we stayed at home. I snuggled him, he almost melted into me, I lay back on the sofa and, well, an hour later we woke up when the phone went. Lush
Hope you've all had more productive days than mine.Flymarkeeteer: £168 and counting0 -

Well it's almost the weekend - hopefully I can be ar$sed to get moving again!
Doesn't help that I've made my mind up to get the porch done - it needs demolishing and rebuilding! So I saved the number of a local builder who put his card through the door a few months back, left a message - nothing! Either he wants the work or he doesn't - will try ringing again today.
Oh well, shower and work beckons - will start making a list of things I can get done tonight - what an exciting life I lead! :rotfl:
Hope everyone has a good productive day!:j Almost 2 stones gone! :j
