I will have to take more care when posting this time though as Ive had 2 emails from customers from the last lot I sold Wed to say they received the wrong items :( so Im trying to sort it for them and have to refund their postage to get them back and re-send to the correct address :o I feel such a twit but they have been so good and laughed about it.

Iv scrubbed the kitchen and handwashed the dishes as the dishwasher still refuses to clean them properly. Iv cleaned it out twice.

Have you tried the white vinegar clean out? My dishwasher has been driving me mad not cleaning properly, and I read on the forum to put a cup halfful of white vinegar in on its own and then a hot wash - seems to have done the trick for mine - clean dishes for the first time in ages!

    Morning Messies!

I am back on track today :D. The night off was just what I needed so I got up bright and early (ok slightly hungover) and I have got the laundry done and the dishwasher stacked and I have cleared out two kitchen drawers, wiped down the surfaces and I am just having a coffee before mopping the floor. The beds are stripped and the windows are open, since it has been raining their is a lovely fresh smell in the air.

Then I am going to take my DD to the library and have a relaxing few hours reading and spending time with her :)

    Congratulations Candygirl!!!

Well, I'm in a mess. I can't make up my mind whether it's not my fault or self inflicted, but the plumbers left yesterday, £1000 over budget (far, *far* more than the boiler needed replacing in the end) and I'm still looking at my daughter's empty room and feeling a bit overwhelmed. Since they had to take up her floor anyway, I figured we might as well get rid of her old and very dirty carpet and replace it with something mascara-proof. Now I'm wondering if I've bitten off a bit more than I can chew. And with dd's bedroom empty-every other room upstairs is a complete mess.

On the plus side..can you hear that??? Can you hear it? No? It's the sound of the pipes *not* clanking. And the pump not straining. Almost silent hot water. I'd forgotten that was normal. It's bliss...
