My home is a mess

Great news about the car Helen! That must be a big relief. Very interesting about the HL and hair colourant, we're onto something there I think!I believe in the freedom of spinach and the right to arm bears.

Hello folks.. enjoying reading everyone's posts. My daughter stopped using the chemical lice treatments on DGD and DGS, now does the comb and conditioner route. It worked, as did DGD catching on to who was giving her the lice and keeping clear of that child. That poor kid, the mother just CBA about anything and her child's suffering as a result.
Got my messy cupboard - the one where all the bits go that have no other home - sorted yesterday, now in a much smaller cupboard with half of it in the bin. I also found the spare key for my bike padlock which is brilliant, it's been missing for about six years! Once or twice I've mislaid my main keys and been unable to use my trike that day until I found them. Walking is slow and painful for me, so my trike is my Godsend and I can't really manage very well without it.
On the subject of keys, twice I've been told of dogs who hid their owner's car keys to stop the owner going to work and leaving them.
TG my dog never tried that, I'd have NEVER found them!Erma Bombeck, American writer: "If I had my life to live over again... I would have burned the pink candle, sculptured like a rose, that melted in storage." Don't keep things 'for best' - that day never comes. Use them and enjoy them now.0 -

Rummer take some time off from cleaning we are here because we are not perfect housekeepers. You are in danger of joining the fly people, not good. A glass of wine and a good book or film is what you need.
Helen not long before the hols are over. We are off to Southport when the kids are back . Its just for the day as its only an hour away. Cant tell the children as there will be waves, lol. To be fair its to window shop not to go on the fair.
Iv got a head cold coming on thanks to oh. Great Ill be sneezing and sniffiling at a 40th birthday party that Im going to with my mate.
Oh well .
Iv scrubbed the kitchen and handwashed the dishes as the dishwasher still refuses to clean them properly. Iv cleaned it out twice.
Livingroom cleaned and pets seen to. Tea cooked. Thats it.
Take care everyone.0 -

Thank you so much ladies!
I think that when I tidy I take it to the extremes and can't have a thing out of place
Maybe I should just go back to chaos? I am sipping rose and eating chocolate cheese cake trying to convince myself to load the dishwasher before bed :rotfl:Taking responsibility one penny at a time!0 -
Oooh! Good luck to your DD Candygirl!
Rummer, I like the rose-drinking and choccy cheesecake eating - keep it up! No defecting to Flylady, don't you dare!
