My home is a mess

Hello old and new messies.
Well i have actually done something today worth mentioning on the messies thread :D.
I have cleaned the kitchen AND as i type, have 3 different cakes baking in the oven......though i really don't think that will help my diet much. Tomorrow i have a NHS health check and i'm sure the nurse will rip me to bits being overweight
:o.
I am just having soooo many CBA days, really since my brother passed away last year and the Dr put me on medication but i have my mum and sister coming up for the day at the end of the month so i must have it at least half reasonable for when they turn up:j.
I still haven't caught up with this thread so must get reading.
Hope everyone is well but for those of you who might not be well, hope you are feeling better soon.

Had to have a quick tidy up tonight as my Aunt was popping round. So cleaned kitchen and quick hoover round in time to spend the evenin chatting.
My DS was good enough to get in & out of bath by himself, even brushed his teeth with the promise of watching tv in bed as a treat while Aunty was here. Little blighter only gone & tucked himself up in my bed!!
No too bad as DH not home tonight so wont be 3 in the bed and certainly doesnt snore as loud!:rotfl:0 -
Evening all
Ex-Trolley, hard to find something to say to give you some comfort but I hope it helps knowing others are wishing you well. My life went completely pear shaped a couple of years ago when I found out that my son has serious health problems but you kind of find a way of dealing with things. It helps me to keep busy (hence the decluttering and reorganising the garden) and if nothing else it makes me sleep at night because I am so tired.
Not too much progress today in the house, lots of boring paperwork which I am struggling to get through and most of yesterday was taken up by yet another hospital visit.
Snookey, hope the dog is doing OK. And others who are having a hard time at the moment, hope things improve.
Must go and get my son into bed. He really should be asleep by now!

Morning Messies!
I woke up early so packed a few bits to send to the baby charity, hats and blankets that are sooo tiny
Just when you think a plan is coming together.......Mum had sold her flat and her buyer was going in to the solicitor's to sign the contract on Monday - only she didn't, she sent Mum a letter instead, with a !!!! and bull story about why she is pulling out! I can't tell you the names I called her, Mum is 80 and doesn't need that sort of carp right now! I wouldn't mind but the woman has been nothing but a pain in the *rse, ringing Mum and going round the flat for all sorts of silly reasons. It will cost Mum the solicitor's fees she's racked up so far, about £600 plus I reckon, plus she has lost the lovely flat in the New Forest retirement complex she had lined up. Anyone know a good hit man? So we are back to square one, the flat is back on the market and so is the one she wanted to buy.
So it will be round there tonight to help her sort out some stuff, she was almost packed up and ready to go so we are helping her sort it out to look tidy again for any prospective buyers that may (hopefully!) want to come and view.
I could scream, I really could! Poor Mum, she really wants to move to be near my sister (and it's a much nice area too), this is the second seller that's let her down, fingers crossed for third time lucky.
My stuff will take a back seat for a day or two, although we have got to declutter the freezer for a dog food order that will be here tomorrow evening - no rest for the wicked, eh? There is a load of washing on too which will have to air indoors are rain is forecast today - oh well!
Hope everyone has a good day today - onwards and upwards, as they say!:j Almost 2 stones gone! :j
:heart2: RIP Clio 1.9.93 - 7.4.10 :heart2:I WILL be tidy, I WILL be tidy!

Morning all.
Sagaris - ((hugs)) to your dear mother. Moving house is a stressful time at the best of times but to have the sale fall through twice must be a nightmare and sending a letter directly rather than just dealing through the agent is just using guilty emotional tactics. Fingers crossed the right buyer will come along soon.
Load of washing already on in my house too which will also have to be hung indoors. Thankfully after last nights quick flit my home is not looking too bad as long as you stay away from DS bedroom (warzone) and the bathroom ( still witing for DH to clear up after fixing the shower).0 -
Good morning
Sagaris why do idiots do that:o when we had to sell my dad's house we had the same problemthe stupid woman kept calling around to measure the windows for curtains then pulled out at the last min  I wanted to go and deck her
I hope everything works out for your mum in the end without any more probs
Rigsby, I can't remember the last time I had time to bake cakesone time I used to do some baking every week but like my mum said to me ''the older you get the fast time goes'' and she is so right
Im not going to do much today as it will take most of it to get through the pile of ironing I HAVE to do :rotfl:
Im off for another coffee to wake up a bit then the running around start so catch you all later x
Oh, I have to take my library books back today so 4 books out of the wayGetting myself sorted 1 day/1thing at a timeand Love sewing
