Trolly - huge hugs honey and come on here and rant away when you need to

Snookey - glad to hear the dog's heart is ok - aren't they a worry - as bad as children!! My dog is 9 but he's getting old quickly [part Alsation part Collie] He's going deaf and gets back leg prob's and sometimes has a dicky tummy

DH is in the kitchen making a huge mess but it'll be worth it - he's putting up a dresser top on the wall for me - I got it from fleabay for £1 and I was going to paint it but we need it in the room NOW so he's sweating and swearing and I'm leaving him to it lol

    Catch up again later

Oh exTrolley - you poor thing.

Not much help to you but here in the midlands, we have a shop called "we ebay 4 u" it is only a little backstreet shop that you would miss. Ask around and see if you have something similar. They do take 33% commission tho.

Oh Dear ExTrolley - I have no words! Hopefully us messies can help by at least lending you a virtual ear, so to speak!

Sorry I've not been around folks - been through the mill a bit this last week - as well as infected bites, and the flea infestation I also came down with a stinking cold, which I'm only just now shaking off! To top everything off, my poor hubby was witness to a horiffic train accident on Friday evening, so I've been dragging myself off my sick bed to try and help keep him bhoyed up for now (he already tends to depression, so he didn't need to be confronted with this). The plus side is he's taken some time off work to recover, and is actually using housework as a distraction activity - so silver lining! ;)
In a better financial position than ever before (thank you MSE!). Moved back to Scotland and now trying to keep debt-free!

Snookey, it is a shame the little bird died but at least its not suffering now :( cats area pain at times but they are what they are and I will always be a cat lover :D
My OH says my little Max cries for me when I go out of the house even with the rest of the family there with him, he is my best friend :D

I could kick my OH most days as I know he has had a pay cut since having to get another job after being made redundant but he does nothing around the house, I do 3 jobs to support the kids and he keeps the house over our heads and pays the utility bills but sometimes I need help. He won't do the very large garden or decorate. As long as he is comfi when he gets home  that' fine , if i had know he was going to be like that I would have stayed a single mum and still be close to my family not 100 miles away :( it is realy getting to me and most days I CBA.

Right no more OH rage :rotfl:

I am now off to the fabric shop to get some nice fabric to make myself a bag :D
Was going to do the ironing but it can wait :rotfl:
Getting myself sorted 1 day/1thing at a time :) and Love sewing :)

Just having a quick catch up on posts.

Wanted to say hugs to you ExTrolly. I hope it helps to have a rant on here. Wish I could do more to help. Re: ebay shops - there are a few businesses locally to us that do ebay resells for the public. Not shops as such but they advertise in the free local ads we get through letterbox or in local papers. I think there are some all over but no national business as such just small independents so a bit hit and miss on areas. I would ask around if I were you. It may be better just to get rid if DH agrees. Maybe it would help you both to let go of those bits and move forward together?

    xx

p.s. Also having a CBA day. Should really have been cleaning all day but can't be bothered to get off my backside! I have compromised and am ebaying instead so I guess still doing something productive ;)

    Afternoon all

Not going to tell you about my DH - you might kick me off here lol - he's wonderful and thats all I'll say bout him but I've been with a few plonkers in my time so know just where you are all coming from, took me 43 years to find my man, to grow up and to know my own short comings and try to fight them, very happy now and don't take anything for granted.

DH has put all the skirting back on and the door frames that were missing so the landing is looking pretty now, he has also put up the dresser in the kitchen and taken a load of stuff to the dump

    Have a lovely afternoon everyone

    Hi
ExTrolley hugs from Wales, It took me 2 years to convice OH to go to Dr for depression, 2 years of him not working and not doing anything around the house and another 8 months to get him to take medication and start claiming benefits. Its sounds like he needs some time to adjust to his feelings my OH was quite nasty and threatening but has calmed down a lot! I hope everything calms down for you quickly.

I have sent 3 ebay things got 11 more listed, 4 packed already. I have sorted my finances a bit and am feeling much better on my iron medicine, I have made a meal plan for the moth eeek. I have sorted the babys stuff ready for arrival and packed just in case hospital bag. The girls washed the walls in the lounge ha-ha around the lightswitches etc where there were mucky handprints - don't need to paint now. All laundry done and dried before the rain started. Now need to list more ebay stuff.
