ExTrolley101 - huge, huge hugs hun, glad your DS was happy with his pressies - its all about the wrapping at that age. I too wish I was nearer to help out, I tend to agree with JackieO - maybe hubby is depressed too, maybe after doing the birthday party last time he realised that actually the kiddies have no awareness of who is giving what and he didn't want to put the strain on you, if he's being a pig give him a kick unf=der the table from me and just remember that when you are feeling down we, the messies, are all there with you, giving you a virtual hug
Will fill you all in on my "done nothing days" later

Hope you are all taking care and Trolley, Im glad things are going a bit better, hang onto the happy thoughts! Sounds like your DS is having a fab time. Would love a trip to the beach but my car has been out of action for 2 months and I am &!$£$% about it now.
Anyway I went into the cupboard and I found 4 wetsuits, you could have had one! Ive just laundered them and I shall probably ebay them. Enjoy your done nothing day Helen, I doubt we ladies ever really get one fo those, we tend to have more of the did loads but didnt get the cleaning and tidying finished days.
I was curious so went to look at flyladies. Thats a bit rich for my blood, I work full time and have three kids, I would have to sleep at some point. Thats a line I wouldnt be able to ever cross, haha.
Anyway, I tidied out that flaming cupboard but I still ahve DD2 room to do. Lets hope I make mega bucks from the wetsuits and animal skins I found in there. Dont know what I was thinking hoarding all that rubbish!! The bins nearly full now.
Take care everyone. I might even hoover,.,, tomorrow.Trying to shift that debt!0 -
Maybe we should form a travelling band of supporting messies....
Help each other sorting mess, OH's (or whomever) and shoulder to lean on!
A sort of moveable support network. Great thing would be that we wouldn't have time to deal with our own mess.... too busy being supportive LOL0 -

I like that idea - always seem to do more at other peoples houses!!
Yesterday had the kiddies off due to the strike so no housework was done other than washing up
Today had the kiddies off as it was Teacher Training day so other than washing up I've done no housework
Tomorrow they are at their Dads till 4ish and DH is at work so from 9.30 till 4 I'm not coming on here [yeah right!!] and I'm taking each room and spending 30mins blitzing it - 2 bags in hand, 1 for rubbish and 1 for charity, duster and hoover in the other hand and after 30 mins I'm moving to another room regardless of what I've done or am doing and I shall reward myself at the end of each 30moins with a fag and or a drink - if you here loud music [Adele] it'll be me trying to motivate myself to do it!!!
If I get it done I can then spend a couple of hours stripping wallpaper in DD's room and make more mess lol
Hugs to all

Oh trolly i hope your feeling better and glad your lo is having a great birthday. Give him a big hug from all his messy aunties .
My son is feeling much better thank you ladies . He had colour in his cheeks yesterday for the first time in years . He said he feels better in himself too.
Well i can't believe it . It took 3 days but our bedroom is now free of all the crap that was dumped in there. I even cleaned every inch of the en suite and put out the new towels we bought ages ago and the new shower mat and loo seat. I have boxes stacked on the landing ready for the car boot on sunday. Today we took the bull by the horns and cleared out the garage . I have loads in there going the car boot on sunday even if it means my dil takes her car too. I decluttered an expedit unit and cupboards to my no 1 sons house for his little boys stuff. A garden table and chairs to his garden so they can sit outdoors. My daughter now has a desktop computer that was cluttering up the garage , a huge pot of magnolia paint, a baby annabele pram etc and 2 bikes . When the car boot stuff has gone the garage will be nearly empty.
Today my dh said it looks lovely in the bedroom i think we'll start the living room on mon even if it takes all week. But at least now he's seeing results he's willing to help. My dil asking about doing a car boot seems to have been the kick up the backside we needed.
Happy cleaning everyone .Cross Stitch Challenge Member Number 20

Well done crafty Granny. Ex trolly you will see the end of the tunnel soon. Deppression is a hard thing to deal with and you need to be kind to yourself .
Iv done nothing today as we went to sports day. Iv got a great sun tan. Dd came last in all her races but wasnt bothered. Still she took part and thats what matters.
Saturday I want to do some more clearing out. Iv got to shorten another pair of curtains for the kitchen and they should be up sat. Oh finally put all the shelves up in the bathroom so thats looking nice.
Im really gratefull to everyone on here for giving me the push to do the house . At least now its looking tidier and things are being finished.
Until tommorrow peeps.0 -

Extrolley my partner has depression and as an outsider I cannot understand how it would feel to be hurting so much inside I hope you feel a bit better soon
Hi messies
I have been missing for a week, I have not been feeling myself went to see midwife yesterday and I have anaemia so massive bottle of iron for me to take, I almost died when I had DD1 as my bloodcount was so low, the Dr told me that a person shouldn't survive with a bloodcount like that I had 8 transfusions in 2 days. Hopefully this dose they have me on will keep me going strong next 5 weeks.
Wimbledon has also been very distracting GO RAFA
Yesterday morning I spent 1.5 hrs cleaning the fridge, took everything out threw out yuk and washed all the shelves and seals and chucked all old jars of condiments etc washed the glass for recycling. Tesco shop came yesterday and now nice things in there.
Spend half hour cleaning the larder cupboard found great things like packets of sauce mix and crackers and lots of tinned fruit.
More cupboard sorting to be done today - and washing and dishes
Cup of tea first though
