    Good morning messies :D

I had to think what day it was, oh Wednesday :rotfl:

I will do my usual wash load today, I swear my wash basket breeds over night :o

Not sure how today is going to go yet as my DD has now finished school, her last exam was Monday, so she will be hanging around so Im going to get her helping :rotfl: I let her off yesterday and she just sat watching films. She starts working more hours in her job over summer so I will have some help for a little while.

I will drop in late when Im a bit more awake :rotfl:
Getting myself sorted 1 day/1thing at a time :) and Love sewing :)

    Morning messies!

So I'm getting out of work early today as I've a Doctor's appointment. Means I'll be home an hour or so earlier than normal. I will use the time wisely to do some tidying. How much of the following do you think I can fit in to an hour?

    - laundry
    - dishes (2 sinks full)
    - put away 2 baskets of clean clothes, (plus dry clothes on airing rack)
    - take bins out
    - wipe down kitchen
    - wipe down bathroom

Hey, I might even find time to breath in between all that...:rotfl:

    Hello messies!

Our oven broke about a week ago - we think the heating element inside it has broken as the hob and the grill still work ok - and we've been using just the hob and microwave (to make those famous 5 minute mug cakes for a lovely PMS hit ;)) and though we've been doing ok by having spag bol, curries, lots of pasta and other things that can be done in the hob, I've really missed baking.

We bake our own bread and cakes and everything in the oven, and every time I've opened the freezer and seen something that requires the oven I've felt a bit sad! Been pestering OH to phone the estate agents (rented furnished property, thank god) and he finally did it yesterday and someone is coming out today :T

So this means a frantic rush to get things looking tidy :rotfl: Left OH to wash up and clean down the kitchen surfaces and the oven itself, and I gave the living room a quick clean and it all looks presentable enough for a stranger to come in :D

I've just closed the doors to the bathroom and the bedroom :o:rotfl:

Things not going so well with today's list.

On the up side, I have just sold a book on Green Met, now just need to move ten tons of junk off the cardboard box that contains the 60 books that I have on for sale and trawl through them to find it. I may be a while!

I am slowly decluttering, but it just takes so long :(

MummyEm try propain from the chemist for your toothache it works better than any others Iv tried.

Iv decluttered a load of dishes and cups from the kitchen. Bought some nice ones from pound strecher for 99p each . Im sick of those little cups that come with the easter eggs cluttering up the cupboards as they never get used.
Kitchen cleaned and tea on. Oh and my ds have helped do other parts of the house today so place is looking tidy. Cleaned the front room yesterday which had a layer of dust. We dont use that room so dust settles on everything.

Hart make sure you give yourself some me time or you will run yourself ragged.

Had to phone another charity as the first one didnt call. They are phoning in the morning so fingers crossed I can get shut of the bags.

Not got much done today either as I have been out. Gave the living room a quick tidy and I think I will spend the rest of the evening tidying up the garden as it is rare that we see any glimmer of sun here.
