    Morning fellow messies

    I've had to get a shift on today as DH's son is over tomorrow and the house is a tip, so far I have;

Finished a bit of sewing I had to do and cleared the machine away
    Cleared the DR table
    Hoovered the DR

    Minimal dusting in LR
    Hoovered the LR
Put the throws back on the sofa [hides the stains I can't wash out and I'm sure its dog dribble !!!]
    Cleared the coffee table

    Washed up
Cleared most of the worktops and then filled it with the ironing to be done

    Been for a blood test

    Had a coffee

    Still to do;
    Clean Ktchn floor
    Put airer away
    Clean the bathroom
    Hoover the stairs
    Sort out the landing
    Do some washing

    Better get a wriggle on

See you all later for an update

Hope you are all well and a little cooler today [warmer for those up North or right down south or anywhere thats had lots of rain] - think that about covers everyone lol

Scattymam - your kitchen is 100 times better than mine - I can't get the last pic - you have a nice kitchen, my wall tiles have been half painted for about 3 years now and are in dire need of sorting but I CBA to do them

Gilly - well done to DS

@Scattymam1 your kitchen is cleaner than mine (although I'll be taking a bash at mine tonight now it's cooled down a little) - hope you've been successful in getting in clean.

P.S. I love your tiles - and your Jack Skellington!

Are you kidding me, that is not a messy kitchen!!

Mine needs a deep clean from top to bottom as well as all the washing up sitting on the sides etc. Im sure you can get yours shipshape in no time at all.

Lol...I HATE the tiles, my hubby won't let me paint over them! We only moved in here 2 months ago. The kitchen is fairly new i think so is very liveable but it's not particularly my taste. It'll be some years before we can afford what i want as we had to do the bathroom on moving in and that cost enough!!!

Just had lunch and a break with the baby, so need to get cracking on, i only have an hour left. I've also soaked a load of the kids whites, they are on a full wash now.

    Starting to get sick like!

Scattymam; That is not a messy kitchen.
I have moved everything out of the living room and have completely cleaned it, i will only be putting what we need back and the rest is going to charity.
Tomorrow I hope to do the same in the bathroom.Well I should get off here and do some more.
    Gilly; Congratulations to your DS.
Take care everyone , be back later.

Scattyman that is not too bad, it looks like you just really need to wash the dishes.

    Am I allowed back? :o

I am on annual leave for a fortnight, the children are away for the day until about six o'clock, so I am busy busy busy. I have cleared out DS2's wardrobe, and a bin bag full of rubbish from his room, I am having lunch and then am going up to take his bunk beds apart and take the broken one to the dump (been there already today, and the charity shop!) I will then reassemble his room. I have also pulled stuff out of mins and DH's wardrobe and have some in the washing for a freshen up and some has gone to the charity shop. I will be getting this house spick and span this week if it kills me. I don't know if you all remember that room I was clearing and decorating for DS1? Well its finished and he's finally been sleeping in it for about two or three weeks now  Its the cleanest room in the house :rotfl:

Well done on all your efforts, I have been lurking more than I have been posting.

    Waves to Jackie

Hoovered the K floor and the stairs
    Sorted the Landing
Put loads up in the loft - by myself [pats myself on the back]
Sorted out more Fleabay stuff - huge pile waiting for the next free listing weekend
Sorted out the wardrobe that DH shelved for me at the weekend, the airing cupboard is now empty - very small and useless space!!

    Still to do
    Hoover upstairs
    Clean bathroom
    Tidy our room

Its raining and the drops are massive - just heard thunder and think there was lightning - I love a good storm

I filled up the kids paddling pool yesterday so the rain is my fault lol

Candygirl - my tiles were 80's grey with a really naff patterned tile every so often - I painted them and then decided that as I'd done such a bad job of painting them I'd cover them with sticky transfers, got fed up with them, peeled them off and half the paint came off too so now the tiles are half naff grey, half cream and dirty!!! I have loads of new ones in the garage but neither DH or I have tiled before and we are quite worried about the wall behind the tiles coming away if we take them off!! I really should Ebay them and then just get on with painting them and doing it properly this time lol

Off to do some more now

Isn't it amazing how motivated you become when you have a reason - must invite people over more often lol
