I need to start again :(

I am just emerging from several weeks of franticness (yes, i made that up!) at work and a weekend away at my dads with the family still here (never a good thing, tho OH did do a load of washing). SO i come home and actually look around me for the first time in weeks and IT'S A TIP!!

So onwards and upwards. I am going to start now - well, in a bit! :D My rule of put 3 things away, throw 3 things away (or donate them) was working well, so I am going back to that.
I wanna be in the room where it happens

    Hello Messies old and new!

The weekend was quite productive....OH put up the chest of drawers we bought 3 weeks ago at Ikea - at least it means his stuff is organised!

The freegler came to pick up the vacuum this morning, so that's another thing dealt with. I have decided to do a car boot, as I have a lot of books and cd's that I think I could get rid of. Also my dad has loads of gardening things for me to sell.

I think I have too much sentimental attachment to things, like birthday cards and old concert tickets etc. Is anyone else like that? I think that's my downfall lol.

So, I've been to the gym this morning which means I'm quite fresh and alert, so I'll get a move on! Need to wash up, go food shopping, also declutter the place a bit. Catch you all later :)

Nice to be back on here - my life gets more hectic by the day. OH is keeping the downstairs looking good, and it's such a relief to come home to a clean tidy house.

DD has been organising my bedroom and helping me to declutter - yes I too keep old birthday cards etc... but now they are in labelled storage files rather than falling everywhere.

Huge pile of stuff to car boot, sadly it's so wet here at the moment the thought of standing in a field trying to sell things fills me with dread :( but hopefully once DD has been away the weather might take a turn for the better and we will be able to get rid of the piles of stuff we have.

Just steeling myself to take pics for e-bay stuff but camera batteries need recharging, so won't happen quite yet.

Unfortunately my desk is again covered in piles of stuff, and I was going to sort it this morning until my new incubator arrived :j:j:j and I had to put this together to make sure it worked properly before the eggs arrive later in the week. I've been wanting hens again for ages, so am really excited.:T :) :T:)

soupdragon - I'm sooooooooo jealous of you getting chickens. My idea of heaven would be to live in a largish house, miles from anyone or anywhere and aswell as growing veg etc I'd love chickens and pigs [lurve pigs]. My house would be on the middle of some moors and about 30 mins from the sea, it would be white with a slate roof - can you tell I've given this some thought lol

    Afternoon everyone :D

Today (so far :rotfl:) has been a good day :D

I posted 5 packages sold on ebay, got some reduced bargains from the co-op and picked up DD after her exam.
I even put a wash load on the line and hoovered right through the house :D

Im back at work tomorrow evening and Im so not looking forward to it after 6 weeks off, I have enjoyed not having to rush tea and just relaxing after :(

My ideal home would be by the sea (not too close) and lots of room to move in Oh and lots of cupboard space to hid the clutter :rotfl:
I have started a box for CB but Im not going to book one until I know the weather is going to be ok, might be a while :rotfl:

I had better rescue the tea and catch you all later :D
Getting myself sorted 1 day/1thing at a time :) and Love sewing :)

My name is Jackie and I am a messie. Its been ten days since I really properly cleaned my house, and it is a hovel. I have lots on, and am feeling very stressed. My kitchen is a mess again, as is the loung, the hall, my bedroom and DS2's room. I need to cut the grass and weed the garden too. Think I will go make a cup of tea and write a list. :o

I have wanted to get some chickens again for ages, but with working f/t hasn't been possible, plus the house being in a mess....etc...etc...etc. Finally decided that we could cope with some more, and have bought some fertile eggs from fleabay. Buff Orpingtons and Lavender Orpingtons.

We used to have a group of Buffs, until a fox got in one night and killed 13 of the 14. The last girl died not long afterwards, mainly from shock I think.

Incubator seems to be working fine, so just need to give it a wash out and set it up properly for when the eggs arrive.

I am very lucky to live in the country, it does have disadvantages though - just fancying a bar of chocolate means a 12 mile round trip

Right, basic jobs in house are done (apart from the washing up- will go do that after this post. My aim this evening is to sort out a plan of action for tomorrow, put away my baking mags in their brand spanking new folder, get washing in, put away, and sort out my DS games. Anything on top of that is a bonus...baby steps....

    Hi All

Hope everyone has had a good day. It has been manic at work and have to admit I was shattered when I got in.
But I have a done a wash load, cooked dinner, made out the shopping list for tomorrow (pay day Yippee!!!) but will
need to go online to do a bit more work shortly.

Hope to get more done at the weekend as I will be home all weekend so plan to have a proper sort out in my bedroom. I really need to have a good look at Ebay and work out how to sell, (have only ever bought before).

    Have a good evening all

When he returned took DS so I went to bed!! Feeling very wanted NOT DD has got major issues with me at mo! Went to Wetherspoons for brekkie yest, OH grumpy he took kids to his parents and was late back whilst I was getting changed. Over an hour late for a party tea at my Mums for DD. On way back to car DS shorts fell down as he was running and he fell scuffing his forehead on edge of pavement. He didn't hit it but OH who was further away than me insisted he did and wanted to whisk him off to A&E. Car journey home v frosty took DD gave her supper and put her to bed. Tidied up, put my clothes away in bedroom and went to bed. OH arrived back trying to insist he had a serious head injury:mad:
He didn't!! MIL today tried to make out I was being neglectful:mad::mad:
Put DS in nursery this am (i knew he was ok) and tidied the garage out which I only did 6 wks ago with DD. Oh keeps dumping stuff in entrance and then throwing other things in. Finished it and tonight went in to get something to find a large holdall a flight bag and suiter in the entrance:mad:
Managed to do three loads in very smelly Wm and get 2 dry. Washed up, took DS to see sleep specialist got drugs finally to make him sleep. Fingers Crossed! I've got my family health course am and in afternoon I'll try and do some cleaning/tidying!! Goodness the thought of that is making me feel quite faint;):rotfl:Remember babysteps messies. Good luck Hart for tomorrow night. I keep birthday cards and concert tickets/programmes need to revisit my paperwork mountain!!
