  • I am but I also feel that I am verging on having done too much as I am pooped - but house is now in disarray as I have started too many jobs - I can honestly say that the only room that is clean AND tidy is the bathroom!!!! Might take laptop in their later - sitting in any other room just makes me spot other jobs that need doing. I am reverting to commersial break cleaning tasks now. Need the sit down x
  • morning all

i am falling way behind with you guys hehe, its the nice weather, and after a long hard winter (perthshires winter was horrible) im enjoying the sun, although my washing line is full. I have however done a bit of tidying in the garden and my dh has cut the grass, so the outside of the house is lookin idyllic, just hate the inside. How can i successfully remove the dog hair off my hall carpet, i have a collie and short haired jak rusell sized dog, and a cat, so everywhere is fur!!!! I hae hoovered and stil it doesnt look right n washed it. Just need to get my head down with the house this week. Hope you are all havin a good day in the sun .

    Love

  • I have been out in the sun - only to hang up washing on the line. I am freezing cold so in the house wrapped up like something not right!
Have decided that I am just going to sort out the dry washing and hoover and tidy the kitchen and living room and call it a day. (Living room and kitchen were surface cleaned and tidied the other day - both need a proper gutting but that can wait for another weekend).
House is starting to look passable on the surface and at least I now could have someone come to the door and not cringe.
OH is sorting through his clothes and shoes for the charity bags.

Just popped on for a bit of inspiration. I started the week well, did almost nothing for the rest of the week, but managed to mostly do my bedroom today so I can move the cot in ready.

I did do some tiling in the bathroom but haven't got round to grouting it yet. I need to get it done so I can finish decorating it. Can anyone offer a kick up the bum for tomorrow please.

I'm glad this thread was started, it made me look at the other decluttering threads and made me realise i'm not the only one with a cluttered untidy house, made me feel a bit better actually :D.

Thing is what do people do for the lack of motivation? I lost all motivation last year after losing my brother :( but now i'm feeling better i still have no motivation, any ideas how to get my bum into gear :o?

    Thanks
