Hi All and Hello from Mucky Klub

Been MIA in spirit but not in body. Hello to all the newbies - it is good to have you here.

I have been looking at Flylady for inspiration, but it goes no further I promise.

Kitchen is looking almost spotless - well for me that is.
Just DW to unload and floor to mop but will do floor tonight before bed.

Lounge needs a hoover and dust but family are under orders not to move or write in the dust - unless they have a duster and polish in hand :p

The spare room or Room of Doom as the Flyladies call it is still cluttered, but it is organised clutter not thrown where it landed. Just got to hoover and dust and then it is good enough for family to stay in at the weekend. Have three bin bags for charity shop, two boxes of games and CDs to go on Music Magpie and two boxes to list on Ebay but may just cut losses and take to CS for the cathartic feeling of having a spare room that looks like one and not the local tip. Need OH to put loads in the loft - I just hope there is not an ultimate weight limit before the boards collapse - we have a dining suite, roll of carpet and all the other usual carp up there but does not include Christmas stuff as that is in the other loft:eek:

Bathrooms just need a swish/swipe and they will be done.

Our bedroom just needs a hoover so off now for a cuppa and then will take the hoover upstairs.

Have a good day everyone xx

:) Well, yesterday was so busy that I was in grave danger of meeting myself going the opposite way! I NEED a slave-clone version of myself to do the legwork so I can get on with the important stuff like gardening and surfing the net.:rotfl:

:) Got in at 10.50 pm, got a ride back into town and so me and pal didn't end up training it (our outgoing lift was a one-way deal). Had a lovely time with my book group, caught up with the goss and played with the huge animatronic tarantula in the hostess' home; she's a childminder and has some fantastic toys.......;)

:) Table top still visible, kitch not too bad as managed to wash up to point where I ate my supper but then had to hit the road and supper stuff now joined by breakfast stuff.

Must get that cleared now, another busy busy day, no sleep and no worries.

Have a good day Messies and no overdoing it.

    Morning Messies (well just about)

Just a pottering day for me today. We have decided to go for a walk to Kinver Edge and take some sandwiches to eat, so a lazy day ahead. It's a nice sunny day and I decided cleaning and painting can be done when it's raining.

Good luck with your new business Horace, I hope it all goes well for you.

Taliah Well done on your son getting his first award. I bet you're as proud as anything. Many more to come I'm sure.

Hart good luck having the stitches out.

Snookey after another pooey baby story I think I have decided to sellotape the nappy on mine when it arrives.

Everyone else have a wonderful day. Don't get working too hard.:naughty::rotfl:

Afternoon Messies :D I have my hand back :j it is a little sore so taking it easy today but boy is it great to have that manky bandage off :rotfl:

Parsnip :D good luck when little one arrives and keep the sellotape handy :rotfl: Ive had to use it a couple of time on mine :o when the disposable's 1st come out my eldest DS was a month old but the tabs were rubbish so half the time would not stick if you got anything on it but I was not going to waste a good clean nappy thats were the tape came in :rotfl:they were rubbish nappies then I had to put waterproof pants over the top as they leaked after more than 2 pee's :o

Taliah :DBig congrats to your DS :T he must be as proud as punch :T

I have done a wash and it's drying on the line :D also sorted the chicken soup from the bones, now cooling down to go in freezer, I got 3 tubs out of it and put a load of veg in that was reduced in Co- Op yesterday :D so it will be a bit more like stew than soup :rotfl:

Hope everyones day is going well :D

I'm back again, I do read but rarely have much to say.

Well hit on an interesting way to find motivation.. expecting a man to call to see to the boiler -- mad tidying and cleaning session ensues but as yet no man. I'm now exhausted. bathroom looking presentable. Stairs okish. washing up done. one load on line. dinner cooking as I'm out earlyish tonight. am starting to wonder if the boiler man was a figment cooked up by OH as a way of getting stuff done.

Hi everyone, not been on here for ages for various reasons and havent had time to go back and update myself yet. My decluttering has hit a brick wall. I think I have reached the point where I have done all the "easy" stuff and need to move on to the more tricky bits.

Spent much of the day today moving things around from one place to another and not really achieving much. :(

Got to take my son to hospital tomorrow so I have set Thursday aside to undertake a major cleaning and tidying operation. If nothing goes wrong I have the whole day on Thursday to get as much done as possible - bring it on!!!
