Good Morning Messies!
After a very disturbed night with DS he's sat eating toast and I'm de cluttering my Sky+ box!!;)
Not planning too much today need to tackle the very smelly & mouldy seal on my 15 mth old washing machine. I've found that I have two front tyres as bald as coots and need to replace them this am and my brake warning light is coming on. Expensive and I think I'm going to need my flexible friend.
Weather warning or this afternoon, won't be pegging my washing out that's for sure. Will have to use radiators. Need to make a trip to Costco for milk I always split it with my friend and some other bits and pieces, any excuse for a chocolate ice cream from their cafe.
Snookey I know how you are feeling I was diagnosed with severe PND but when does that turn into regular depression as my kids are almost 7 and nearly 2!? I can feel myself getting worse some days, i have found that on my bad days it's best not to plan too much and to treat myself to something nice i.e. a cup of tea and my favourite tv show or half hours knitting or just flicking through a magazine or book. Don't be too hard on yourself. Chin up.
Have a good day messies and watch that wind warning after lunch!!0 -

my OH works in tyre sales so they are not too bad for me to replace (I knew there was a reason I am with him :rotfl:)
I have suffered since I was 14 with SAD and get very down sometimes but over the years I have learnt how to sort myself as the Doc's were never any helpsometimes a good cry helps

if it hadn't been for them I don't know where I would be
I feel a bit brighter today so will hoover through and do a bit of sewing :j

Happy Birthday Helen Jelly xx have a fab day and i hope you get spoilt rotten
After a rubbish nights sleep where the kitten kept climbing up on my bed and trying to sleep on my head!! I went in to check on my 1 year old tis morning and she was still asleep, so i opened her stair gate so she could come down when she woke up. Big mistake!! She had filled her nappy in the ight so when she got up she took it off herself, then came downstairs on her bum!!! There is s**t on every single step, then as i was in the kitchen sorting oldest out for school she went and sat on the sofa too......So she is now in the bath, ive scrubbed my sofa and my stairs carpet, cleaned up her bedroom, stripped her bedding and put it in the wash and now im shattered lol
My house is a bomb site tho, i went to my mums yesterday as we all went out for dinner together and i got so depressed walking in her door, her house is so clean and tidaythen i got home and had to fight my way in, i sat and looked round and just cried! but it seams as much as i get 1 bit sorted the rest of the house goes haywire, then i move onto something else and the bit i sorted goes right back to how it was....its just never ending

Oh Taliahmai
you are not haveing a good start to your day
Big ((hug)) for you
Haveing a little one to look after is not easy to keep everywhere cleanbut don't beat yourself up for it, they grow up so fast and you don't want to spend their little years cleaning
It does get better
My mum's house is spotless but she is retired and its only her and my step-dad but she still thinks it is messyI wish my house was as messy as hers :rotfl:
But then again :rotfl: my DD (16) dropped something in the toaster this morning and decided to shake it over the sink (at least she had sense to do that :rotfl:) then said it wouldn't come out and she had to get to school so Im left with crumbs every where and a toaster I can't use yet
DS has gone to school now so just me and my little dogIm haveing a coffee before tackling the kitchen
Getting myself sorted 1 day/1thing at a timeand Love sewing

Aww, Taliahmai, It sounds like you have had a right night and morning of it what with the kitten and then you DD but at least you have now tackled the stairs and you DD bedroom :T.
I know how difficult is is to keep a tidy house when there are young chidren in the home, i just couldn't manage it and when i had, it was a mess 10 minutes later & you just lose heart.
1 friend of mine, when her kids were young she still had an immaculate house, you wouldn't even know she had children living thier, well she was like that Bucket woman from keeping up appearances....dusting while on the phone, if guests had spilt tea she would go into a frenzy with a cleaning routine, cleaning while waiting for the kettle to boil and chatting with friends at the same time, as much as i wanted a tidy house there was no way was i willing to go through that type of routine.
You can only do what you can do, it does sound like you have a supportive mum though and it's great she is helping you with the tidying :A.
I am due to get rid of my old washing machine that is sitting in my livingroom at the moment, so that will be a good thing out of the way. I must MUST clean the girls house out again as i can see an end to the red mites, then i will see what the rest of the day brings.
Have a good day messies old and new;).

 Happy Birthday Helen Jelly!
I managed to get my living room in order yesterday and....and.....found the tabletop! And actually had breakfast at the table as opposed to on a tray on my lap.
Almost like a proper grown-up, eh?
Won't get a lot done today as have to w*rk, get bike out of repair shop, water lottie, run home, cook and run out to play with the girls. Might be home by 10.30 pm if all goes well. If I keep up with the dishes today I'll consider it a triumph.
Hope everyone has a good day.Every increased possession loads us with a new weariness.

Morning all. :j
I have been so busy the last few days its unreal. I think I updated a few days ago, But I cant be sure.
OH mum has had some health problems over these past couple of weeks, A week ago last Sunday we had to call her a ambulance, Luckily she never had to go in, Was told to visit her local GP.
Monday morning after seeing the doctor she was told she was fit & well. That she needed to take a few days rest. However Monday night we needed to call yet another ambulance because she was struggling to breathe.:(
So a week ago today we was up the hospital all night while she was having test after test.
Finally she was diagnosed with a serious chest infection.
However today, She’s back in hospital for a operation (Unrelated to the above) So again its very tense & difficult living with my OH today.:eek::(:(
He already suffers with depression, So he has been on a constant downer!
I haven’t managed to do any cleaning or anything.
Today we had virgin media come out because our service’s have gone awol!
It was a mad rush to try & get some tidiness in my living room! To say I was really embarrassing experience! Especially when the young lad said:-
“Wow I’ve finally found someone who home is as dirty as my room! “:eek::eek:
Anyhow, Enough of the rant..
Seems everyone is steaming ahead, I however will be back to baby steps over the next few days! :T:T:T:T
Keep up the good work all. :j
PS: Happy birthday Helen!:D

I have prepared all veg for tea tonight too
I hoovered living room and kitchen then atempted to have a go at that toaster to see if I could get the bit out (not sure what) but no chance so OH will have to dismantle it tonight, I can't find the screw drivers
Now sitting having another coffee :rotfl: so that will prob be it now :rotfl:Getting myself sorted 1 day/1thing at a timeand Love sewing

Yay, the dishwasher has now gone but goodness knows what the bloke thought of my house, not only is it untidy and cluttered but the duck was running round in the house and 1 of my hens had just laid an egg so was making a right racket to let all and sundry know she'd laid :rotfl:, the cat had literally just made one heck of a stinky mess in the litter tray, so the bloke was probably glad to get out of the house (or should i say farmyard :rotfl::rotfl:).
PRINCESSX87 I hope your OH mum is feeling better soon.
Oh well best go see what else i can do now.
