I've just been and collected my Dresser Top - its lovely, jubbly and I can't wait to start it
I've no idea how to put pictures on here - I'd show you if I could

The lovely lady also gave me 3 carrier bags full of housey mags - House Beautiful etc so I can spend all those hours that I should be cleaning reading hehe

    Helen x

Have fun reading the mags Helen :D

If you want to put pic's on here you have to put them on photobucket or flicker and download your pic from your PC then right click on the pic, go to properties at botom of box that pops up then highlight the URL codeand copy then come back here (I usually have two tabs open so I can go back to each page) and click on the little square with the mountain in then right click in the white box (delete the http 1st) and copy the code in, click ok and it should show the pic you want then :D

I use photobucket and you can edit your pics before coppying the code and use the medium size :D
It is a bit long winded and Im sure (hope :D) someone knows a better way will help :D but its the way my OH told me to do (he's a PC geek :rotfl:)
Getting myself sorted 1 day/1thing at a time :) and Love sewing :)

Hi all messies ,newbies and lurkers! Well done to all those who have acheived even a tiny bit. DS much better this eve, DH working "oop north" all day and so when he returned went to Toby carvery for tea, I ate far too much and so now just sat reading threads!! Thanks for all your good wishes for DS. Happy Birthday for tomorrow Helen Jelly. I love been here amongst you all. Need to do something about my bedroom, floor so cluttered DH has to climb over me to get into bed!! It's really annoying me now. Thank goodness for Ikea bags for clean laundry!! Been musing with idea of investing in a pressure cooker and breadmaker, when I have space in kitchen and finds to do it!! Seriosly need to get organised with years of paperwork stored in Mr T big bags. Want to try Barnsley market Crafty Granny hear it's great. Candy Girl Otley mkt is lovely!

That's lovely Hart. I love looking through the stuff on the shabby chic thread, but never get round to doing anything.

    Happy birthday Helen Jelly.

The cleaning bug didnt last long, I was sent an email by the chap who is building my new website to say that he had started some blog postings for me that I need to write properly and put back links in etc. etc so I am afraid to say I had to sit at the computer and do a bit of writing - one article done now out of 6.

Did some washing up this afternoon too with more to be done. Need to clear out the plastic bottles from the kitchen and wash the jars. The plastic bottles will now have to go into the normal waste seeing as the council has removed the bottle bin (for glass, plastic bottles and batteries) because the students upstairs and Mr Porsche Boxster (basement) kept filling it with ordinary rubbish. The glass will have to be carried up the road to the industrial sized glass bins.

I did find a little paperback book on my office floor (hidden under a pile of papers) - a Delia Smith book - Frugal Food which I leapt upon with excitement and it now has pride of place next to my Hard Times book (this was a paperback I got second hand in Australia and it is full of tips on how to survive the depression by making things, cooking things and growing things).

Tuesday, I have plans to empty the carboot of camping stuff because the car is going in for service on Thursday and I won't have time tomorrow or Wednesday to do it because I have meetings to go to and need to spend Wednesday afternoon with my regular client (I am not a ho..I realise that I have made myself sound like one:eek:)

Here's hoping you all have a great week.

Happy Birthday for tomorrow Helen - have a wonderful time and forget the mess

Today I have replaced the strap on my laptop bag, moved my craft project a step closer to completion and done some more tidying in the craft/bedroom.

DD has finished the raised bed all but 2 blocks, and I have planted out courgettes, tomatoes and peppers.

Snakes have all been fed and am now relaxing before bed. Busy day tomorrow but not house wise, hopefully it won't descend into chaos again.

Happy birthday Helen jelly enjoy your day out.

Iv not done very much. Two of the things on my list Iv done and one of those was to tell my son to bring his washing down. I suffer with depression and its been rearing its ugly head. Hoping the morning brings a new feeling.

    Take care everyone.
