Wow Trolly good going on what you achieved! does your mum want to come round here?? lol... Im very much taking her approach i think, starting with the smallest room....unfortunately all but 3 of mine are really big lol. The bathroom/toilet and my newly decorated (carpet was fitted today and furniture moved back in) sons bedroom are all done. Next on the agenda is my kitchen, although my youngest has gone to stay with her dad for a couple of days so i might tackle the girls bedroom instead, ive also seen a gorgeous disney princess carpet i want for them lol.

I have to admit though, i did nothing to the rest of the house today n yesterday. I sorted my sons room out and just physically had no energy left! My iron levels have dropped through the floor again, im back at dr's tomorrow for another blood test but its looking very much like another iron transfusion is on the way! Altho to be fair im hoping that is the case, as i do get an overnight lift and my energy comes flooding back for a few days!

We are now also the proud owner of two 8 week old kittens :) we got them last night and they have settled in lovely, one is curled up on my knee as i type....they are called Jaffa (giner one) and Flutterby (black n white)...kids picked the names lol. They are also loving my washing pile.....good enough excuse not to do it to me haha

Snookey that was so funny must have been a strange experience.

Had very busy but frustrating day. I've sorted through some stuff and took some more of my living room upstairs. Because I don't drive I have to wait for someone to call for charity shop stuff etc and it means I either have bags of stuff waiting to be collected or they give a few days notice of a pick up when I haven't time to sort grr!!!

Really do need to drastically declutter for a number of reasons at mo, not least my sanity but it feels like I'm going round and round in circles and if I could only break the circle I might finally get somewhere at last.

To be fair my dr is a nightmare, My body just doesnt absorb iron, it just wont accept it for some reason and they are putting me through all sorts of tests to try and find out why.....but in the mean time im on 3 tablets a day and an injection every 6 weeks...but usually about every 4/5 months im having to have a transfusion too. Its mad as i only really used to suffer real mild anemia where 1 tablet a day would be enough. It wasnt untill my 2nd pregnancy i had to go onto the injections then on my 3rd the transfusions.....little one is 16 months old now and my body still hasnt picked itself back up like it did before. We will get there im sure lol

I had a busy day yesterday decorating the bathroom which I really wanted to carry on with last night, but had a breastfeeding class. It was very odd when they got the knitted breasts out for us to practice expressing on.:eek:

Going to go and finish the papering now then carry on with painting. I would love to get it finished today so another area can be blitzed over the weekend - hopefully the garden.

Not sure many of you now qualify as true messies.

Not posted for a while but not done anything for a while. Can just about keep up with the washing. Everything else gone to pot.

Amazing how the dust looks, will get to it one day.

Procrastinator - don't think of it as dust but a unique micro ecological habitat. Cobwebs are environmentally friendly fly traps. You can put a positive spin on anything

Ester - sorry to hear your not feeling so good - be kind to yourself as it's so easy to get depressed about not being able to do things - you are far more important than a tidy floor.

Off to get my hair done so no houseword until late this afternoon as I have other errands as well, including picking up some ferret food for dd's ferrets - will then have to brave going into their cage :eek: although one is a cuddle bunny, the other for some reason really doesn't like me (everyone else she likes) so will try to nip me

Will let you know how the trainee does with my hair, and if I need to wear a hat at all times or not
