It is, Rigsby, I am going to finish off the emulsioning tonight, and paper it tomorrow, I am hoping to get his bed built and things back together for him before he comes home from school. It was meant to have been finished in the Easter holidays :o

That's OK I am not letting the side down/up/whatever, my house is still a tip; although sons bedroom is now completely prepared for painting and in fact the cutting in has been done already :)

Im with you there jackie :o I have all this time off work and still CBA to do much, I know my hand is an excuse, I have done 1 load of washing and sat finishing off sewing some press studs to 2 glasses case I made ages ago and I did make my bed this morning :o but thats it I lost heart and have given up.
Im here on my own (1st time in ages) DS is at a friends, DD has taken the dog for a walk or is that a drag as he hates leaving me :rotfl: and OH is going to see his friend as he is like a dad to him and he is not expected to be around too much longer so he goes over there every Thursday after work.
I think I will go put the dw on :o
Getting myself sorted 1 day/1thing at a time :) and Love sewing :)

Hi I would not say Im brave more like stupid ,lol. I wished oh had captured it on camera. It was like something out of a comedy. Mother said it had made her day and could only happen to me.
Iv not done the floors yet, lazy cow as I am.
Talking about dogs Hart mine moans until I go into the kitchen with him whilst he eats his tea!. Also if he wants a wee in the back yard and the door is open he expects me to wait by the door. As he is old now Im certain he has some kind of dementia.
Iv got washing in the machine second load but motivation is low. Im going to do the floors and after tea dishes now or Ill never do them.

Hi all, just reporting in though I don't have anything to say. Well done to all those who have achieved much or little today. Due to long term illness which is the reason the house is as bad as it is, not much happening at all at the moment. Really not feeling well and just don't have the energy. Hubby got three loads of washing on the line and that is now dry and put away. That's about it. God bless. Esther

  • Don"t worry jackie and hart44, it won't be long until my house is a mess again as here in NI our kids get off at the end of June and aren"t back until the start of September!! I'm trying to do as much as I can whilst they're out of the house and I don't have to listen to ' Don't throw it out, I love that' or 'You've tidied my room and now I can't find anything'!!

It would have been one for you've ben framed :rotfl:
My dog has now come back hyper and it racing (skating :rotfl:) all over the laminate floor and rucking up the rug :( he is a jack /lab cross and most of the time I think he was a cat in his last life as he sleeps a lot but every now and then he goes mad skating around the room until hes wacked out :rotfl:
My OH has said he cries like a baby when I go out even when he is here with everyone :o
I keep dropping hints to OH that I would like (need) a steam cleaner for my floors :o (it's not working yet :rotfl:) as it would be easier to keep them clean when the dog has been out when it's been wet.

My dd has just informed me that she has told everyone in school about the mouse. Im sure that went down a storm.

Hart mine wines when Im in and out of the room,oh and the dog ,lol. I was thinking about a steamer mop too but to be honest It would lay in a heap with all the othe gadgets iv got. Pound strecher have got some for 25.00 so it may be worth a visit.
Hate wet dogs. Iv been thinking of making a towel that would go over ours when wet, but I dont know if he would keep it on.

Look Im waffling again. Iv done the floors and kitchen. Put more in the washing machine so Iv pushed my lazy bum.
Esther hope you feel better soon hun.

Sorry to hear you are not feeling good Esther :( you take it steady and hopefully you will be up and running again soon :)

As for the dog I did think about super glueing his coat as it gets everywhere and he is only a short hair dog :o

Hope everyone has a nice relaxing night and I will catch you all in the morning :D
