Crafty Granny your right kids are all the same when it comes to yapping. Iv just been running after a mouse in the front livingroom. The cat caught it but I tried to grab hold of it when she let go only for it to wriggle free. Dont want them to kill it.

Arrggghhh i'm terrified of mice and cats and well animals basically.

I was hoovering today (getting difficult because my pelvis is shot to pieces), moved my leather footstool to hoover underneath it and discovered a huge ants nest!

Im lucky I dont have a fear of rodents or any other animal. The only thing I dislike is cockroaches ugh!. They make me feel sick.
Its a pity that you dont like animals crafty granny as your missing out on their little loving ways. One of our cats holds your hand with two paws before she goes asleep. Another one cuddles in and will stay for the night curled up next to you, another likes to go asleep with her head in the cup of your hand. They all kiss you when asked and one curls her tail around my arm when sitting next to me. Iv got four cats ,a dog and a bird and they are all loving in their own way. Everyone knows our cats and our big fluffy one rolls over for all the children to stroke her belly.
As you can see Im animal mad and if I had the money would have a sanctuary.
    Anyway enough waffle from me.
Iv just taken dd out of our bed fully clothed with a dressing gown over her. Also had to tidy up before I could put her in her bed. It was like a mindfeild of clothes, toys and dishes. Im afraid she is taking after me,lol.

House is now looking much better. Hallway hoovered and mopped, utility ditto and also hoovered kitchen (will mop tomorrow as I was baking tonight and knew there would be flour everywhere). Made bread and lemon curd muffins :)

Tomorrow weather is going to be nice, so will work in garden getting veg. planted out and also dig next bed inside polytunnel for the rest of the tomatoes and peppers.

Well that's as organised as I'm ever likely to be so will wish you goodnight (although being a night owl won't be in bed and asleep for another hour at least).

OOH! save me one of those muffins Soupdragon. My attempts at baking never turn out , I cook rock cakes everytime, lol.

Sequeena hope you feel better soon . When pregnant with my dd my leg would go from beneath me as she would lie on a nerve. Not a good thing when walking to the bus stop from work. I ended up having to stop for half an hour whilst it recovered. Mind you they are worth it.
Im off to bed having scoffed lots of icecream and I feel ill. Serves me right for having seconds. Oh and I are joining slimmers world on sat and its as if we have to get all the sweets in before that day, lol. We will put on an extra stone in just this week alone the way we are going, lol.

:) Well, haven't posted for a couple of daze (sic) but have been following all your doings and am impressed as always what a bunch of reluctant housekeepers like ourselves can get up to if we feel encouraged (and if the moon is in the correct phase, of course. Housework in the incorrect lunar phase is injurious to health. ;))

:) My wee flat still looks like an explosion has occurred, or possibly even a mini-tornado has touched down in my living room but there are oases of order elsewhere and I'm managing to do dishes in Real Time which is making my life more pleasant, even thought it's hard dragging my knackered carcase into the kitch sometimes.

:) It started oh-so-innocently yesterday whilst I was waiting for my slow internet to load a page (on Unclutterer.com lol) and I decided to use that time fragment to drag some bits and bobs out of the cubby holes of my desk. Found a photo envelope which had been MIA for some time as the pix were from 2008. :o Well, the instinct was to shove it in a drawer but after work I dragged out my albums and put the blessed things away, put the negs away in the neg folder and the envelope into the recycling bag. Whilst I had the albums out, I got side-tracked into Memory Lane, tho, so that was a bit of a waste of time, albeit pleasant. One little undone chore from years ago.....MUST not allow similar things to lurk and fester, MUST deal with them in Real Time.

:) Anyway, the stuff which is all over the place is out for a reason, reason being I haven't put it away.......:rotfl:Only joking, folks. A pal dropped in for a chat and found me sewing buttons on but was able to continue that and finished by the time she'd left so that's one fewer bit of clothing lurking awaiting attention. Got a fair few other stray items needing something from me and will aim to tackle a few a day.

:o Trouble is, tend to be getting ready for work, at work, getting ready for allotment, at allotment, fetching groceries on way to/ from work or allotment, eating or sleeping. How the heck mothers manage families I don't know, I have enough trouble organising myself!

:) Today it a low ambition day; recyclables OUT, groceries IN, up to the lottie and maybe swing by the dump with some recyclables too big or wrong type for the on-street banks.

Tell ya, if I wasn't green, I'd have a blimming easier life!
