    Good Morning!

Dibuzz, I thought I had posted yesterday (I know I typed some at least!) but now I can see that I haven`t. Must have forgotten to click `post` - that`s what comes of trying to multi-task. I had to chuckle at the wardrobe story, but at least it`s out of your way now.

YL, when my DS was in his teens we went through a phase of noisy sleepovers - really nice lads, but voices `breaking` and they just didn`t realise how loud they were. Hope you get some relaxing in today and tomorrow.

Well, I`ve not done much here except some shopping, cooking and clearing up . And I`ll not be doing much today either, as there seems little point. DS is going away for the week so I`ll wait till he`s finished gathering his stuff and gone, then at least my efforts will last the week! He`s going on Monday morning (I`ll be at work) and I`m almost looking forward to getting on with a proper tidy-up in the afternoon.

    Hope everyone`s having a nice weekend. x

Gosh that post sounded a bit grumpy yesterday!! My lovely bunch of teenagers went off to the sportsfield and were collected by their parents later that afternoon so all was well. They were going to camp out but the weather put them off (and the fact that the xbox doesnt work in the tent I suspect).

Had a nice relaxing day at the parents and just working on my finances for a bit now.

And yes Tilly, I need to put some stuff on ebay - just need the motivation to do it!

Gayle, Welcome! If only I had the willpower to say `one drawer a day` - and stick to it.

YL, you didn`t sound unduly grumpy - glad the youngsters got their sports in after all, sounds like a better day than you expected, nice one.

I, on the other hand, AM grumpy!!! I went to work this morning, decided to go in first thing so my `mini shift` could be more use as we`re busiest early morning. (Plus I felt less like a spare part!) So I was home by mid-day....DS still here, not `quite` ready, asked for a lift to the station, but wasn`t ready even then so missed one train. I`m waiting, trying not to grizzle before he goes away, and getting impatient to get on with stuff here before I run out of steam!!
I actually have a list, for once, and at the top of it is WASH DOG`S BUM! I daren`t try to do the whole of her at once, but her bum is a bit daggy and her tail smells of wee. I`ve got the kit together, just waiting to get DS on s train and get home and start... lovely way to spend a bank holiday, isn`t it?

It's so annoying waiting for other people to get their act together Emm, definitely know what that is like.
Youngest wants to build a barbecue using some leftover block paving bricks so we are off to B&Q soon for sand and cement then nipping into Tesco for his packed lunch stuff.
Apart from that I'm not feeling very motivated, I think it's all the dull rainy days we've had recently so will just see how things go.

Emm, yuk. My doggie has just had a bit of a dodgy tum and guess who gets to clean up after him. Not OH who loves to cuddle up with him on the sofa on an evening. Anything messy and he's my dog.

Been for a lovely 5 mile walk with my parents and I am feeling so sleepy now. Going to keep moving though. DS has a cricket match tonight so I will go and watch, need to feed everyone first but I put some mince in the slow cooker this morning so thats sorted. Just need to do some veg and spuds.

And yeah, tomorrow is forecast to be rubbish weather again. Wish it would make its mind up!

    Good Morning!

Well, I finally got DS to the station yesterday, then came home to start on my List. But first I had to gather up the trail of his stuff (not wanted on voyage!) that had leeched out of his room when he was getting ready. And the pile of wet towels he`d left on bathroom floor.

I cleaned all the tops in the kitchen, it`s motivating to know there`ll be no coffee grains, sugar spills, and buttery knives left on there and it`ll stay reasonable for a whole week while DS is away!

I put a couple of pork shanks and some veg (including baby potatoes) in the big red pot in the oven, ignored it till suppertime and it was gorgeous - same again this evening, warmed up.

Then I got on with the Dirty Deed. Dear old Dafty dog now looks and smells a lot better, and I only fully soaked the tail and claggy bits. At one point when her rear end was quite lathered I told her that if she shook herself then I would cry - but she behaved very well, and I only got my feet and flipflops soaked.I dried her on her fluffy towel, then washed all her feet individually, then swilled and scrubbed down the yard area where I`d been working. Then washed my feet and flipflops. By then both me and Dafty dog were happy to call it a day!! My early morning was catching up with me.

Today I`ve had a lie-in, washed last night`s pots, plus a pile that I found in DS`s room.
I have to do a Morrison`s next, get my £10 off £40 spend plus get my 10p/litre off voucher and fill up car.
Then I`m going to cut Dafty dog`s toenails, THEN Henry LR.
After that I`ll pick from my list....

Hope everyone`s having a nice `start` to the week, at least it`s not a Monday!

Had my last meeting with my pwp this morning, he's pleased with how it has gone and has referred me for treatment for social anxiety with someone else which will be in 3 - 6 months.
Normally I get loads done when I've been to see him but today I walked into the house and just cried for 2 hours, I'm not even sure why as I've been feeling so much better. Maybe it's just because I felt comfortable with him and it was like having a friend to talk to so I'm really going to miss him.

Not checked in recently, Missy the Springer is down to two working legs, the front ones, so I totally understand the dog bath trials as she has to be done every morning, despite wearing a nappy... The vet will be coming tomorrow :-(.
Not getting much housework done as she's very distressed if she wakes up on her own, and Barney dog is confused and barks at her a lot, so OH shouts at him... Stressed? Moi¿
Please forgive me if my comments seem abrupt or my questions have obvious answers, I have a mental health condition which affects my ability to see things as others might.

Dibuzz, it`s a pity you couldn`t have had a few more sessions with the pwp, as you have gained from the meetings and you are bound to miss them, but don`t let that set you back now. Give yourself a break - you feel sad for a good reason because it`ll be like missing a friend - then try to keep up with the plans he suggested, and meanwhile look forward to the next stage in a few months time. ((HUGS))

Raksha, I`m so sorry your Missy has reached that point. I`ve got to face it too sometime, but not quite yet. Dear old Dafty has wobbly days but just needs a bit of help, then she`s good for a few days - but I know it can`t be for long. ((HUGS))

Well, I did an early shift yesterday. It went ok, but I did feel really tired. I did a few bits off my List when I got home, but in a `plodding on` frame of mind, which may be a good idea for future use. I`m off today, another early tomorrow, and have my shifts for next week to plan around, so that`s something.
Today, so far I`ve taken OH to dentist, been to farmshop and a quick forage in Aldi, put stuff away, plus a bit of freezer tetris, and just done a quick tidy round, and now pondering what to do next while I have a coffee. Meals sorted for next couple of days, kitchen still looks ok (largely due to DS`s absence!), laundry up to date, so I think I`ll do a bit more sewing, while DGD isn`t here.
