My home is a mess

Morning everyone.
FW, you're so right, where did that weekend go. I had such a lovely time but it went so quickly! Times flies when you're having fun and all that.
I've been doing a bit this morning, but not too much. I've washed the mattress topper and done some handwashing as it's a lovely day for hanging things outside, it's beautifully sunny but not windy for a change so my laundry should be safe!
I've done a bit of cooking, something I've fallen out of doing yet again. Other than that I've just pottered around doing bits and bobs, seems to be making the place look better.0 -
Evening All!
My every-weekday-morning treatment runs are already making me thoroughly appreciate weekends! The visit from my dearest friend was really lovely, and although she`s the sort who wouldn`t bat an eyelid if the place was a mess I enjoyed having a clean & tidy for her visit!
Today`s treatment was another nice simple run, got lined up first go and again we were home before mid-day. I`ve not done much indoors but had a bit of a potter in the garden, and have put some of DGDs akita fur out for birds for nesting. So far, one bluetit has been seen taking a tuft, but that might just have been curiosity!
Veg soup is simmering - I almost had to chisel the pork stock out of the jug it had set so solid!
Have a nice evening all. x0 -
I washed eldest son's curtains and learned that it's not a good idea to stand on a swivel chair to take them down :rotfl:
They dried quickly outside so left them on son's bed and he helped me put them back up.
He's off next week but we've got a few things to do including looking for a "new" car, hopefully one not held together with duct tape. It does make it easy to spot on a car park though.14 Projects in 2014 - in memory of Soulie - 2/140 -
Ha! Dibuzz, that's the kind of thing I'd do.
Quiet day for me today I think. Maybe a bit of gardening this morning before I head off out. Got loads done yesterday so a quiet day today will do no harm. Have a good day everyone.0 -
It's lovely here today after a frosty start, 2 loads of washing are already on the line.
I'm hoping it stays like this long enough for the grass to dry then I can mow it before it gets to knee length!14 Projects in 2014 - in memory of Soulie - 2/140 -
I'm quite pleased with what I've got done today, amazing how much a bit of sun helps.
I've done 4 loads of washing, dried it on the line then given it a 10 minute tumble and folded it ready to out away.
Cleaned eldest and youngest sons' cars.
Weeded a small flowerbed.
Hoovered living room.
I might regret it later when I can't move but I'm so fed up of being stuck in the house now I've no dog to walk.14 Projects in 2014 - in memory of Soulie - 2/140 -
Well, today I had 19 things on my to do list...
I have only managed 2 of them...
But I have put some washing in that wasn't on my list,
I've bought some more hollow fibre filling and that wasn't on my list either.
Right, I had better go and try to get the other 17 things done...
I think my list might be too long.GE 36 *MFD may 2043

Morning all!
Sunshine again here on the farm! Washing is on the line, birthday cake is in oven, i'm on a roll already today! ha! I washed the windows yesterday, i knew they were dirty but the difference today is amazing!
Dibuzz - i am the same, the sun motivates me to do more, long may it last!
Not sure what to make for supper tonight, will have to ratch through freezer and see what can be found. Think i'll make a rice pudding for the pud though.
Have a good day!

Well the progress is minuscule but it is progressing. I am normally very busy so do not mind that the progress is so slow. Gradually tackling things as I find them. It's really easy to default to cynicism these days, since you are almost always certain to be right.0

Good morning.
More flitting from task to task for me today. I've got some laundry on the go, I need to clean the fridge, prepare salad for the next few days, clean out the rabbits, sweep the floors and put some laundry away. There will be other bits and bobs as I go along. Hopefully there will be half an hour or so to do a bit of work in the garden too.
Enjoy your day.0
