  • Morning Messies!

Well done the folks who have Christmas prep going nicely - I`m not even planning shopping yet, somehow can`t get in the mood. I may be in denial....? It doesn`t help that we haven`t got our next rota yet - like it has to be kept secret till the last minute!! I have volunteered for the late shift Christmas day, and I know who else has - but as for planning anything else we`re still in the dark. I also know I have annual leave early December, but not the dates. At least I can get some shopping done then, I suppose.
Last few days have been really busy at work, haven`t even noticed the house turning into a tip again. I HAVE noticed that folks seem to eat more because it`s colder (& create more mess/washing up left in sink, etc.) but I`ve just cooked and let them get on with it, so it`ll take some effort now to catch up.
    I`ve had a little lie-in.
I`ve caught up with washing up.
I`m quite pleased that meals went pretty much to plan and leftovers got gobbled up too. (I`d cooked a load of mince and some chicken thighs in advance, and it all hinged around that!) Checked fridge, and found nothing growing interesting new life forms. Good.
Nearly out of milk, and bread, so obviously I have to go shopping today, and see what else I find.. Not good.
The sun is shining and I COULD feel motivated to blitz at least kitchen/LR, but I`d rather get shopping out of the way first, and see what energy I`ve got left after that.
Have a nice Friday everyone. x

It's a beautiful day here so I have lots of bedding drying outside. I won't be doing very much round the house today, just my basic stuff and a bit of tidying. Nice lazy weekend ahead and I'm looking forward to it.

Hope everyone is feeling ok and has something to smile about over the weekend.

Unbelievable game. It's going to take a week for me to be able to face going to Old Trafford next week.

It was hard work to watch wasn't it? One silly high tackle ruined it.

I've put some washing in and done the dishes going to give the bathroom a quick once over then back to the hot seat for Australia v Fiji.

Yeah, I think it was probably an amazing game but I didn't enjoy it too much and don't know if I can face watching it back. I'd rather be feeling like this next Saturday than today!
