    how do i check her previous listings? i will have a look, she still has not replied! i dot know whether to raise the dispute straight away or give her the benefit of doubt and wait to see if she replies tomorrow...

    The police will have nothing to do with it. Although technically perhaps they should because fraud is a crime, they will not want to waste their time over it. If it is not a genuine mistake then your only real course of action would be via small claims, which if it was me, I would definitely follow up with.

    If it is a genuine mistake, just think how happy the person who bought the coat is right now!!

    i know lol!!! i think she has defo ripped me off thou as she has not replied to the 3 messages i have sent her, im really upset about it, i only brought this as id had my handbag stolen on a night out, now this has happened, feel so let down with human kind at the moment!!!

    What iPhone have you purchased for £170? 3G's sell for around £100 - £120, 3GS £200 and 4 £400. Its either very expensive for a 3G or would have alarm bells ringing with me for a 3GS or 4....

    it was a iphone 3gs, the bidding went upto £172 but her reserve price was £200, she said she would sell it to be for the £170 via paypal as she would of paid £30 in fees, she had over 400 positive feedbacks i thought she would be genuine!!!

    Thats cheap for a 3GS, I sold mine last week for £200 to a mate for a quick sale. Ebay tend to go £190 to £240.
