i understand your questions - but it is not really helpful to state that because he has not included it in his income, he is being dishonest. he is clearly struggling at the mo, and will not be thinking clearly and able to remember everything. my understanding of the DLA as that it is going directly to his children - so he doesnt actually receive it and therefore has rightly now included it in his SOA.
if he could receive the DLA directly, then it may well help him get out of the hole he is in more quickly. but clearly there are reasons as to hwy this is not currently happening.carve your name in red. the silver slipping and slicing. rose petals blossom and fall. soul steals away.0 -
last post if his girls struggle like he says then he will have power of attorny so he will be getting their money to manage for them0

I think most of the time DLA can still be easily paid to the parents if the kids live at home, I read about it somewhere on here? Anyway without OP confirming it we are purely speculating on wether he recieves it or not. As I said before, he may be recieving it but spending it on care for them.Lightbulb moment 27-11-06

well without asking the details of what is wrong with his children (and no, i'm not asking - that's his business) i don't think we should assume the money should or could be coming to him. my cousin gets DLA and it has gone into her own bank account since she reached adulthood. she lives at home but she keeps her money, and if her parents are okay with that then so be it - not everyone pays board to their parents, whether disabled or not.
just because dla is not declared on the soa doesn't mean fred is not truthful. please be nice to other moneysavers.52% tight0 -
i thought they were of school age as he had took them out of school, anyway i have tryed being nice and cant see anywhere on this thread where i havent i was only saying as if extra money coming in it would bring the out going s down and dla if a person cant manage there own money you get attorny where you manage it for them etc clothes things they may need0

is that your last post?
i don't know anything about fred's children, i didn't read the other thread. but his child benefit suggests 2 children, and there are 4 children so i assume 2 are adult. perhaps they are the ones getting dla. but that's besides the point, he hasn't included dla as part of his income, so it's not. family dynamics can be complicated and maybe he doesn't want to air his family's dirty linen in public.
i'm trying to think of other stuff you can do freed. what's the aol thing about? isn't your internet free because you have sky?52% tight0 -
The DLA should be declaired as income, we get ours taken off the other money coming in.Barclaycard 3800

excuse me? you kept DLA 'quiet' when doing you SOA thats all i was saying. dla must be included as an income.
anyway some other help i posted that i forgot about. get a skype phone and a £10 top up and then youll get free calls for 6 months (i believe its 6 months). saves on the phone bill. There's someone in my head, but it's not me0 -

if the girls are receiving dla themselves direct to them then why are they also in receipt of an extortionate amount of pocket money? There's someone in my head, but it's not me0 -
if there are 4 kids maybe the older ones get dla and the pocket money is for the younger ones?52% tight0
