One of the posters was looking for your thread but it had fallen back 3 pages, so he asked on the board if it had been deleted again. In the meantime Edingburghlass posted back to show him where it was. HTH

I have found it tough to get motivated today, feel drained after not sleeping for most of the night. It wasnt't helped by me reading posts on here by bugbabe and anthillmob, which are not helpful at all so please stay away from this thread if you do not have anything useful/helpful to add.

  • weymuffred. Have you managed to have a look at the MoneySaving Old Style board yet?

There are some fantasitc recipes amongst other ideas for moneysaving on there, try the Christmas & Winter Festival board as well.

I did post on your previous thread about budget shopping and that I used to go from shop to shop with a note pad and take notes of where to find the cheapest/best for my family, it gets easier after a while and you start to remember where the best deals are and get very good at spotting the deals!

did you have chance to look at my post:

is there anyway at all that you can broach this subject with them? i see you are also paying pocketmoney - is that going to your other children? i guess it would improve your financial situ in the short term as i'm guessing their DLA isnt going towards their keep. then again if it starts WW3 it might make things very unhappy. but then you are very unhappy struggling with debt, and you need to make as many changes and cutbacks as possible to improve your financial situ.

as regards your broadband - if its any help we're with wanadoo (who are now orange) and we pay £17.99 for a 2meg connection but this includes unlimited free calls evenings and weekends. our landline is with BT and i think it's £9.99 so perhaps you can make a saving there. perhaps aol will be able to do something with your phonecalls? eg match other companies offers to keep you as their customer?

is any of this at all possible?

i cant belive you said not helped by my posts the reason why your not finding my post helpful is cos your not telling the full truth about how much you really get this is the last i will post on this thread as i cant stand the fluffy bits as your girls are disabled you will be getting their dla but lets close our eyes and pretend your not when you are ,lets not ask why you dont want to add a couple of hundred pounds to you list of incomings like i said last am going to post as this thread is going no where
  • I think you are being overly sesitive Weymufffred (my grandfather lives there you know!)

Anyway, people arent trying to cause you hassle, I was not nor others, we are all just wanting to know, what amount you get from DLA, what are the issues surrounding it, to see if we can help you. We are all here for support. People are frustrated that you will not answer, even though we are trying to help you. Thats just my view on it. I have seen some people get upset by comments, because they are asked personal questions which they were not expecting, but to sort this debt out every aspect of your spending and income need to be taken to pieces and put back together again. Everyone on here posting a SOA will get exactly the same questions, see the hole and try to help fix them!

We ARE here to help, honestly.
