    Hi,
I read most of the last thread but havent read all of this, I hope everything does get better for you. I agree with most, tackle one thing at a time, food shopping, bills, daily allowances etc. I personally set myself a weekly budget based on whats left over after essentials (so not including pocket money, food etc) and then make do on this. If I have £40 a week then my mission is to feed my family with this and seriously consider needs vs wants. I think you should take out the non bill payments (food etc) for say 2 weeks, as a trial with your kids include the pocket money, they can help with the budget, get life skills, practice cooking resourcfully, and the left over money can be split between them and debt. My be worth a try but I havent looked at you SOA recently so you may be doing this already.

hi weymuffred (only just worked out your name - weymouth fred, - thats dyslexia for you, i'm not stupid, just walk to a different beat...)

anyway i did a thorough look at your SOA on the old thread before it got trlled out and would be happy to do it again, since i think (can't promise) i came up with savings that others haven't - i had some tome on my hands i guess...

anyhow i'm now a bit busier, (back at work even if 1 handed - now i really sympathise with the physically disabled - can't even dress myself atm!) but would be happy to redo it but only if you would like it, let me know. i'm an accountant and a good part of my job is picking holes in budgets!

i'll treat what you save as the 'hole truff' as i used to spell it, and ignore the pointless dla discussion!

the dla discussion is not pointless unless it is received direct by the daughters.

believe me im not having a pop but if weymouffred received the dla for his daughters himself then we have been mislead with the income on the soa.
There's someone in my head, but it's not me

But what can we do?

Anyone of us on here can lie on our SOA. I know for a fact people don't put things like Sky on it because they fear the reaction of others. We can only work on the figures given to us. If the OP's decide to lie about their situation then they aren't getting then best advice but that is their problem, not ours. :)

If the DLA has not been included it is for a reason, i.e., his daughters get it or whatever, it is none of our business and the OP has no reason to lie to us as he has laid bare everything else in his SOA as he is desperate for help.
If he chooses not to discuss it, again it is for a reason, - so can everyone drop it please!!
