anyway i did a thorough look at your SOA on the old thread before it got trlled out and would be happy to do it again, since i think (can't promise) i came up with savings that others haven't - i had some tome on my hands i guess...
anyhow i'm now a bit busier, (back at work even if 1 handed - now i really sympathise with the physically disabled - can't even dress myself atm!) but would be happy to redo it but only if you would like it, let me know. i'm an accountant and a good part of my job is picking holes in budgets!
i'll treat what you save as the 'hole truff' as i used to spell it, and ignore the pointless dla discussion!
nethesi xx
When you have got some free time then that would be rally appreciated. what I have stated on my SOA is the hole truth and nothing but the truth.Have you got a job yet?
NO? Then :shhh:0 -
Weymuff, you should have just said that, we would all have understood, and not pressed you further.
Its a lot of money from them to recieve, so if you have not thought about it before, see if they want to set up a savings account for some of it perhaps?
Just as a note, can you reduce the pocket money in anyway? Im sure if the kids knew you needed to rein in the spending they would understand possibly?Lightbulb moment 27-11-06

Anyway, people arent trying to cause you hassle, I was not nor others, we are all just wanting to know, what amount you get from DLA, what are the issues surrounding it, to see if we can help you. We are all here for support. People are frustrated that you will not answer, even though we are trying to help you. Thats just my view on it. I have seen some people get upset by comments, because they are asked personal questions which they were not expecting, but to sort this debt out every aspect of your spending and income need to be taken to pieces and put back together again. Everyone on here posting a SOA will get exactly the same questions, see the hole and try to help fix them!
We ARE here to help, honestly.
xxxx
The amount I get is the amount I have put.
There are 3 posters (anthillmob, bugbabe) who are just not nice and will not be missed.
I know that everyone else is only posting so they can help me and my family out of our current debt, and as I have done already but will do again is say thanks.Have you got a job yet?

We are all here to help, even if you dont feel like you have had much support.

i haven't read it (getting it for christmas!) but i suggest getting martin's new book 'thrifty ways for modern days' from the library or amazon, play.com etc.
and the money diet, that's an excellent book and although i love this website i found it easier to read a book (in the bath lol!) than reading onscreen.52% tight0 -
