Scented Candles

Another shout for Yankee. We had one for a Christmas present (Hyacinth) and even though there's only a couple of inches of wax left in the bottom (large jar) it's the only candle I've had that scents the whole of the downstairs.
I looked at buying one the other day and couldn't believe the price so I bought a cheaper Homebase one instead. I can hardly smell that one.
If I've got any money left at the end of the month I'm going to treat myself.

Well, after reading this I've just been on to the Yankee site and made my first order. I love scented candles but it's hard to find good ones so cheers everyone.0

I have this one in a shorter fatter version from Neals Yard“A budget is telling your money where to go instead of wondering where it went.” - Dave Ramsey0

Has anyone tried making their own scented candles by melting down candles and adding essential oils? Dunno this would work?Debt Free Date:10/09/2007 :j :money:0 -

another Yankee candle fan. Clean cotton is my favourite. I also have the car freshner too in clean cotton. sometimes its worth spending more.
have to agree about the vanilla ikea candles...they are good but the others I tried from there were disappointing.x x x0 -
Can I be first to admit that I don't know what a "candle tart" is. Can anyone put me out of my misery, please?0
