Where do they sell yankee candles?
I have to disagree. As a partylite consultant I've never had a complaint and have plenty returning customers. I burn our candles every day and find the aroma melts are fabulous. However I respect your views.Murphy's No More Pies Club Member No. 680 -
i like the colonial candles. i just love the mango scented one. you can buy them from garden centres usually.
but i find it far cheaper to use essential oils in a burner and the smell is really strong and lasts for ages.
plus with oils you can mix and match to get your own "designer" fragrance....lol0 -
I am a Partylite-aholic! I also love Yankee candles, especially the 'Clean Cotton' variety.
The thing with candles is, most of the time you get what you pay for. Some of the cheaper candles are sprayed with a perfume which evaporates as soon as it starts to burn. The dearer candles have oils mixed in with the wax and so the smell lasts longer.
victory - if you have had a problem with the smell of Partylite candles, then they do offer a money back guarantee (obviously you can't use up a whole box then ask for your money back...) I once bought a 3 wick candle that didn't burn properly. The consultant got it changed for me, but the same thing happened with the second...and the third...eventually it was discovered that I'd bought from a dodgy batch of wax and I was asked what candles I would like to make up for it. Their customer service was excellent.

Another vote for Yankee Candles. Mostly, I've stayed away from scented candles as I often find them a bit nauseating. Then I smelt a yankee candle in "Clean Cotton" and it smells wonderful, I love it and burn it most days moving it around the house to scent different rooms. It's in a tin and cost £4.99, its a decent size for the cost, i think. They do one in cinnamon that smells really good in the tin - might treat myself to that for xmas."Then, when every last cent

And he went."

I am going to have to try a Yankee candle or two now. They sound just fab. How much are the cheapest ones?
The last candle I got was from M&S, got a £5 voucher free from them so was going to get a candle for my flatmates birthday. However the day before I was going to give it to her, she went and bought a load of scented candles herself so I kept the candle I had got.
It was a mandarin scented one and it is lovely. I think it smells even better as it was free!
There is still loads of life left in it. I don't burn it for long as the smell stays so it will last me ages.0 -

I usually buy my Yankee Candles from the Boundary Mill outlets. They are much cheaper and the one in Colne had many scents to choose from.0
