Scented Candles

I have spent a small fortune on candles, burners, reeds etc etc.
The candle I always go back to, have a stockpile of, and have burning all around my house is:
Glade Honey and Chocolate
http://www.tesco.com/groceries/Product/Details/?id=264940462
It smells absolutely amazing, doesn't 'go away' if you know what I mean, and is always on offer at £2.
Give it a try!
Bought is to buy. Brought is to bring.0 -
If you like a strong fragrances I cannot recommend Lilyflame Candles highly enough. They last for ages, burn well and smell all the way through. Even unlit they fragrance the room when you remove the lid. They come in tins and cost anywhere up to £8.50 (in John Lewis) although usually a few pounds less. Still expensive but worth it! We used to have a shop which sold candles and these were our best seller by far, once people had tried them. They do a Lavender and Lime (not bad) but the Baby Powder is yummy!

I love these:

Discreet smell and comes in a variety of colours/scents. Cheaper than chips too0 -
Wish we had an ikea near, think the nearest one is Bristol i loved ikea before I moved.
The glade one sounds nice , will have a look for that one. Will look for the lily flame ones as well. the trouble here is our shops are all small or we have to travel further out and I do like to smell before I buy.
Will be having a google tomorrow to see what I can find.
Thanks for all the suggestionsTreat other's how you like to be treated.

Not MSE at all but I use Partylite candles. I only light candles once in a blue moon so don't mind the high price tag, plus they melt down to completely nothing, no wax, just a plastic tealight holder to recycle. I love the scents, they make my home smell amazing, I get them at a discounted price AND they don't contain the nasties that some other candles may contain which leave black marks and soot trails. This is a system account and does not represent a real person. Think you might mean powder puff - they don't do a baby powder one. Yankee candle wax tarts are the most economical IMO, put 1/4 of one in an oil burner and it will go on and on.0 -
I have to echo that the Yankee 'Tartlets' - now re-named as 'Melts' - are the most economic way to use the brand. They can be re-melted around four or five times before the fragrance begins to disappear
.
Some of the out-of-town Shopping Centres have Yankee Outlet Stores where you can get some good bargains.
My own particular favourite - especially for Christmas - is Christmas Eve.
If you get one of their 'Pine' fragrances, it can be very convincing when you've got an artificial Christmas Tree.0 -

I'm somewhat addicted to scented candles, though I like to look further afield than Yankee. My daughter bought some lovely candles from TK Maxx for my birthday called 'Soy for Joy' - since she's a student I was cross when I thought she'd spent a lot of money on them, but she promised me they we no more than a fiver for a giant candle in a jar, she bought me grapefruit and lemon tree - both lovely uplifting fragrances that lasted me months and months. For everyday household use Home Bargains sell a brand of candles called 'Bolsius'. They are only the pillar kind, and I've only ever seen 2 types - vanilla and clean linen, but both are incredibly strong. You can smell them even without burning them and they are if I remember a couple pounds each.
BTW Meriten, TKMaxx sells Copenhagen Candle co. candles too!No buying unnecessary toiletries 2014. Epiphany on 4/4/14 - went into shop to buy 2 items, walked out with 17!0
