They ask when you make a claim.... Though strangely they never ask when they do an automated renewal

Points on your licence barely add anything to your premiums.
Most insurance claims make money (fault or non-fault) and the insurance companies are in the business of making money!
It seems to me that because there's no 3rd party to claim off, they're ducking out of this one.
If you'd been rammed off the road by another car they'd be all over it like flies on !!!!!!.

can't say i agree with that. for me, at least a £400 difference when i get quotes with/without points :(

Im a bit worried reading this, I got a fine from Lambeth a few years back for turning right at a 'no right turn', should this have been declared on my insurance? I think I also got a fine from congestion charging for forgetting to pay one time

    No, because they are non-endorsable.

Hi, they have not mentioned what category write off it is. They did say that i do not have to make claim, although money for points on license would be added to what i have left to pay and this would cost £1900, which can be spread out in installments with added interest. If i do claim i have to pay £750 this would pay the rest of the years insurance off and money owed for not declaring points.
I am still looking at getting another car possibly on finance or maybe something really cheap until i can save enough for something better.

To be honest from posts I've read on here, just informing them that you have had a crash (which you are legally obliged to do) is enough to increase your premium regardless of if you've claimed or not :A:A
I like the thanks button, but ,please, an I agree button.

Will the grammar and spelling police respect I do make grammatical errors, and have carp spelling, no need to remind me.;)

Always expect the unexpected:eek:and then you won't be dissapointed
