  • Hi All,

Valentine, just wanted to say that the morning sickness shouldnt last too long but as one of my friends said who suffered till 16 weeks at least you know something is happening!! As you cant feel any kicking that early on it should reassure you that your body is very busy!! I assure you it will all be well worth it in the end!!
Just make sure you make the most of it and put your feet up while you can!1
12 Weeks is the magic number in most cases, and it is the mid-trimester when you should feel most 'spritely'
Anyway i do sympathise with you butjust look forward a few months and you can have a big proud smile on your face!!

    Love and hugs!! :grouphug:

    Hi Wanting!

That was a lovely post - thank you!

I don't feel too bad now - it kind of comes and go. I do really prefer it when I 'feel' pregnant as then I know that something is happening as you say.

It's so hard though as my constant thought about 250 times a day is - if it could be the 9th of January - then we will have had our scan, seen the baby and if it's okay and be able to start telling people! It's having to lie or make up excuses that's really hard.

    Lots of love

    Valentine xxx

    Afternoon all

BargainRzl – so glad to hear about your move going well, I’m so jealous! However I am sorry to hear about your grandmother, I hope the funeral goes ok.

Crazychik – thanks for your good wishes, exactly, their loss!

Pennineman – I love your photos, you live in a beautiful place J

Shez – thanks. I’m already starting to peer around corners ;)

CCStar – sounds like you have a stressful evening ahead, hope it goes ok

Blairweech – terrible discrimination! Sounds like a paper pusher trying to be important. Hope you got it sorted

Spent a few hours this afternoon at work sorting out a conveyancer for the flat and accountant for my er…. Accountants! Bit nervous about meeting an accountant for the first time, I bet I haven’t got all the paperwork I need!

Oh well, off to browse the boards…

    MP

P.S. Forgot to say, have ordered the new book – very excited! :j

Well done mushypeas that is a good shopping budget, im getting there can now feed all 6 of us and cat for about £50 a week sometimes a bit less, that is a mega improvement for us before i found you guys i was spending over £450 a month on food!!!!

Today just keeps getting better and better for me, as well as my mega bargin shop this morning which im still grinning about, i got to school this after to be told i didnt win only 3 prizes in the raffle from the xmas fair but 4!! So went and collected 4th prize!

Then i was on phone to sister reserving things for my kids at the argos here from her ( she is in wales so no postage if i get them up here) and my friend came up and told me she had the item we had reserved at home and didnt want it and it had only been used once!! So another pressie sorted for £5 instead of £25!!

Had a good day today. Got loads done - in and out of the house - and met up with old friend who's starting up new business in the town. Hope she does well. Bought a couple of hand-made necklaces from her (for penninewoman before you ask:rolleyes: ) at prices which suit an MSEer. :)

gingin: Which part of Oz you going to?
    Where now?

The evening went reasonably well. Our son seems to be on track but need to keep an eye on him so he stays there.

My husband, however, was a different matter:(

    Mornin.

AS usual I woke up early again. I don't know what it is, but no matter what time I get to bed I always wake up at about 5am. I will break that cycle this week with some 6pm-3am shifts, but its a pain all the same. It's hard when we have guests, because I get sleepy in the evening and start falling asleep.... anyway.I did manage to service the car and it stayed dry. Polished it too!!
Today is another day off, and I think I will have to start to sort out the rubbish in the garage and take a trip to the dump.
Tonight it's off to the cinema to see Borat, I hope it's good.
    Was it any good?
