Morning everyone
.
Scuzz, you sound completely fed up and I hope you end up where you want to be.
Loraine - we like I'm a celeb too, I like Myleene the best. I can't wait for Celeb Big Brother in Jan, that's my real favourite.
Feeling a bit pants today, was up until 2am with things on my mind, had 2 bits of bad news yesterday both of which have made me put things into perspective more. On a positive note I am really enjoying having my husband at home, it takes us a week or so to get into a routine together and we now accept that he won't get a new job contract until Jan. Luckily he is paid up until the middle of Jan so we are enjoying the "free" time together whilst we can without having to worry too much. He really is so supportive and we have been talking a lot about our future in Oz and the plans we have (I want to set up my own little business) which is really exciting.
15p listings on Ebay today and still have lots to list so will spend the morning doing that. I am also planning on making a big vat of leek and potato soup to last us through the week for lunches. In the afternoon I need to start my big clear out before my mother's stay next week. Oh and I do our own thing during the day and then meet up for lunch and a date in the afternoon with a cup of coffee and a mince pie:drool: !
Have a good tuesday.0 -
Hi all
I had a great night's sleep last night, first time in ages, so I don't look like a haggard old bag today for a change
Managed to do quite a bit of OS last night, I'm getting back to my old organised self and it sooooo much better, less stressful.
OH is away until Friday and I've got a few things to do with DD this week so it will soon be Friday!
For dinner last night we had pasta with a mushroom sauce with ham, sweetcorn and a bit of cheese. It was lovely, DD had seconds :T I made enough for all of my lunches for the rest of the week.
Tonight will be potato and leek soup, which I intend to make the leftovers into a risotto type thing for tomorrow's dinner as I don't have much time to cook on Wednesday nights.
:grouphug: to all of you that need them and anyone else that would just like a hug

Good morning everyone!
You are all so energetic in the morning!! I'm much more a night owl, but getting worse at that. I'm back from the gym so I have done something this morning.:D
Still very overcast here, but I think the rain is easing a bit! Yesterday turned out lovely in the end, blue sky and sunshine, don't fancy our chances of any today though. More washing draped everywhere then, or use the TD
Well today my brain's making appointments my body can't possibly keep!:D :rotfl: In my imagination I will: tidy the house from top to bottom; batch cook some "ready meals" for the freezer; do general shopping; maybe pick up some Christmas shopping; attack the ironing mountain; pop over and do a bit for DIL and new grandson. Well I guess that's this morning accounted for!!!
If I don't report back you'll know I've failed miserably! Will start with a coffee and go on from there:D
Scuzz so glad to hear you will change jobs. This one just seems to be wearing you down constantly, and they do take terrible advantage of you!!
Hope you all have good days,
Bye CmxxYou never get a second chance to make a first impression.0 -
Morning all
Well the news is that I didn't get the job
Oh well at least I tried. However they were v.v.v. impressed and want to add me to their 'consultants' list, I'll just have to wait to see what happens with that!
So last night I went out with my neighbour and got rather tiddly very quickly after two drinks  I now realise it was because all I had to eat yesterday was some oatibix (I think I prefer the original, but hoping these have less sugar) and carrot soup for lunch. The lovely beer went straight to my head!
I've been keeping a track of how many hours I'm owed and over the last month I've worked an extra 50 hours at work  So they have got nearly six weeks work out of me for the price of four!!! Today I'll be in work, but sorting out stuff to do with the flat I'm hoping to buy (fingers crossed).
melt71 - I know what you mean about the relief when you have time to become more OS organised. I'm slowly working my way back to that!
scuzz - sorry to hear work is awful, pm if you want to chat about it
Oh and welcome to the newbies!
Catch you later

Hey everyone,
Sorry I've not posted much over the past few days - this pregnancy lark is not much fun at the moment and I'm feeling really cr*ppy. I have been feeling seasick for a few weeks but yesterday I was properly sick (kind of took me by surprise but at least I was in the loo) and I am now feeling like I'm going to see my morning weetabix and cup of tea again shortly. Sorry, I know its TMI but I've no-one else I can tell just now and I'm suffering alone as we're not telling anyone for ages yet.
I don't have much more news. I'm going to be doing some listing on eBay today and not much else. I'll try and keep up-to-date with the washing and dishes etc but I am so exhausted just now, I just can't seem to run at my normal speed and I am having to slow down through necessity. It's very frustrating as I tend to go at 100 miles an hour and I'm not getting as much done - however my pregnancy book said that weeks 7/8 were vital as the organs are developing and to take special care. Scary but true.
Anyway - I hope you are all well. I do read everyday but often can't post for one reason or another - I hope I'm forgiven.

Hello all,
Feeling pretty tired tonight. Had an awful night's sleep last night thanks to DH. Something was biting him.
Obviously his blood is better than mine as nothing bothered me. He also had no bite marks this morning so it was all in his head. After turning the lights and scanning the walls and beds about 100 times I told him off.
OS is coming to visit tomorrow. He's staying about 2 weeks, he's staying with XDIL & DGS. Should be an interesting visit.
He's also going to help at the house. I don't really have the room here as he'd have to sleep on the couch and DD has a friend coming for this weekend already. One day I will have a quiet peaceful life. I will try and post some more pictures later in the week of progress so far.
Have a lovely day everyone. Oh...I made a cheese pie tonight. Got the recipe from here. It was yummy. Will make double the mixture next time as I found it a bit light on. Unless we are all piggies here. ByeeeeeeeeeeeDon't worry about the world coming to an end today. It's already tomorrow in Australia.

Morning everyone! :hello:
Moving tomorrow  , Am having a relaxing five minutes with a nice :coffee: , will drop the pookers off to the sitter in a minute. Then the stardrops will be out and the marigolds on, again, my house never seems to look clean no matter how hard I try something to do with an old cottage in the country, and so many pets, I guess!
Went for a chat with the area manager from WW yesterday and they wanted me to go on a training course to be a leader this weekend  , but I a not 100% sure about it, I know I would love the helping people angle and the job role itself, but by the time you factor in all the extra hours that you have to do unpaid and the meetings that you have to attend etc, I just cant see how I can make it pay.
Getting excited, about the move, but wont be online for ages, I should think as I wont have a connection, so I shall miss you all, be good and heres a stash of hugglies for the time that I wont be able to get on.
BR willl think of you tomorrow at the Funeral, I hope its a celebration, IYKWIM.
Good luck to all the others moving as well!Pawpurrs x
