  • Morning fellow OSers :hello:

It's pouring down here - just let the dogs in from their morning wee and they look like drowned rats  I hope the weather clears up soon as it's usually walkies after the school run.

DS1 is at the orthodontist this afternoon. Long story - his teeth are badly misaligned through thumb sucking. He's pushed his bottom jaw back and made his top teeth a little bit horse-like  :D Anyhoo, back in April he was fitted with twin blocks to realign (sp?) his bottom jaw. He lost his bottom twin block during a breaktime football [STRIKE]match[/STRIKE] muddy scrum about 10 days ago. This afternoon the orthodontist will either charge me for a new botttom block or *drum roll* it'll be time for 'train tracks'.

It must be a Big Day for DS1 - he is 12 and is actually going for a shower without being asked!!! There must be a girl involved somewhere. :p

Well, best get on. OS tasks for today are batch baking for lunchboxes, proper meal planning (spending a flippen' fortune on shopping at the moment through bad planning) and cleaning the floors. Luckily we've solid floors throughout so it's just sweeping then mopping, but the dogs keep adding to the interesting patterns every time they come inside from the garden

*Thinks - do they make dog wellies? *

    Have a great day everyone.

  • Welcome Jembie and embb who posted yesterday. It nice to "see" new faces. :)

earthmother any lemon curd left??? :) My sister is a nut for it. It always makes me think of her.

Forgot to say I had a parcel delivered from Amazon yesterday. I bought my DD a Wallace and Gromit talking alarm clock (only £3.99) but when I took it out of the box, the second hand had fallen off and was lying on the floor of the face (if that makes sense). I hope Amazon have good customer service as I will be ringing them today.

    Time for brekkie methinks.

    Morning All:hello:

Just a quickie from me, as I seem to be spending much of my time on the Christmas & Families boards at the mo & am missing you all, hope to be back with you properly in the new year:grouphug:.

Not sure if I have stopped OSing or it has become such a way of life that I can't see it any more? Can't think what to report...the SC isn't on 'cos we've got last nights leftovers, the WM has finished it's overnight cycle & is waiting to be hung in the bathroom (it's tipping it down outside), the BM isn't on 'cos I made a loaf yesterday. Today won't be so much OS as out & about, off to post ebay parcels, pick up frecycle childrens toys, pick up shopping for hubbys aunt en-route to her house where she is going to help me out with my knitting (have reached a neckline....oooohhhh, never done one before!:j).

Welcome to Jembie, nice to see a newbie:hello:

    Have a good day everyone:wave:

    Good morning everyone,

So tempted to put my decs up tonight, now kyle has hers up!!!!

Very dark and wet looking outside at the moment, so another day in i think!!! Have 2 little ones here today, although one will be at Nursery in the morning. Normally, Tuesdays are when i have the morning to myself, but one who didnt come yesterday is coming today instead so will have to think of something we can do together (prob reading and colouring!!!)
Need to make the lunches and get the WM on, but thought a browse on here and a cuppa was more important!!!!
Right, first little one is here, better get my 2 up and make the packs!!!!
Have a lovely day everyone (and welcome Jembie)
    Take care xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
