    Hiya,

I don't have any friends on mine at the mo :(, but I do have a pic.
Not of me but of something at least.
Anyways, sometimes I think it might be better to have a couple of friends but then how many will that turn into?
But then, Next thing you know, you've got 500 and know only 10. Just my opinion.

Also, like a couple of posters said above, comps that ask for you to like and share you're probably not going to win because it's the person with the largest amount of friends that will win:)

Also, just my opinion bare in mind.....I hear so many peeps on here say....my friends are getting annoyed with how many comps I'm entering and the messages and posts on their walls etc,
Question: How many of those friends that moan will be the ones phoning you if you won £100,000 through Facebook?

    Hope this helps!:)
  • thanks for that - just felt silly with no friends. have you won anything with no friends?

There is a link for getting comping friends, I've added a few from there as my real life friends don't know I comp.
https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/2819090 I'm on there somewhere - feel free to add me, but please add a note saying you're from here :o
    Thanks to all posters :A

I have alot of facebook friends, too many to chat too all the time, but I share everything I can there, including answers and links to comps I am using, I also wish winners congrats, point out winners I spot who are in my friends list and send out birthday wishes if I get time. I dont do vote contests and rarely ever vote. They are evil! Also take no offence to being unfriended, truth is, I possibly didn't even spot you leave as its so busy there. It is awesome to spot what people enter though so definitely add a few friends
On these" I want to win because..." I do have a go but struggle finding something to say, so usually try to leave a light hearted comment. I have seen comments on radio sites from people after they have entered details into a random draw post things like "I have 5 kids to feed" or "my son needs this if he ever goes to uni" and I wonder if that ever works? Surely its a complete waste of time.
I love to simply call everything Awesome, and sort of move on - but I am guilty of "liking and sharing" as I have so many friends, some ask for a like, comment and share. So its become habit.
Happy comping xx stay happy when entering, it makes winning all that more special.
    Wishing you all good luck!

I am really annoyed with Roboform, deciding to charge annually. I've posted on their wall and am not impressed with their response so far -

Is it even legal for a company to decide to change their Software Upgrade terms and apply it to existing customers? Roboform have withdrawn support for old versions, and require existing customers with lifetime upgrade licences to take out annual subscriptions before they can upgrade to V7. Am I overreacting on the Roboform wall? I feel really let down by them cancelling the Lifetime upgrades with no notice

My light may be on, but that doesn't always mean I am looking at the PC - I am far more likely to be cuddling or feeding Tianna atm, so please don't think I am ignoring you if I don't reply quickly :)

Our Precious Baby Tianna has now joined our Family, she is much loved and very welcome, xxx

A lot of people where very upset (and still are) including me when they cancelled there lifetime guarantee some time ago and a lot of people have complained much like you without any success

unfortunately they are an American company and there consumer laws are not as good as ours as there consumer laws tend to differ from state to state

If you upgrade and purchase Roboform Desktop/Laptop then there is no annual fee ;)

and if you go via the upgrade link it is $19.95 which is roughly about £12 sterling
    http://www.roboform.com/php/pums/rfprepay.php?lic=upgrade_rf7&upgrade=yes&lang=en

I held out for ages before upgrading and initially I was adamant that I wouldn't purchase the new upgrade but as it is an essential comping tool I eventually had to bite the bullet and upgrade :(

I have a question that may have been asked before. With TV comps where you can enter up to 3 times/6 times per phone number I often lose count of how many times I have entered. Sometimes I get the message in red print that I have gone over the permitted amount of entries. Does anyone know if this automatically disqualifies your other entries?. I try really hard but if someone distracts me, speaks to me etc then I find I have lost count.
