Really not in the mood to do office work today so have procrastinated it in favour of baking. :D Just simple stuff like scones and pancakes and will do some muffins using the chocolate from the four uneaten easter eggs. How'd that happen? :o
 I didn't think it was possible to have uneaten Easter eggs, I've even bought them from the market after Easter when they're selling them cheap. :o I babysat for my friend the other day and I counted 8 uneaten eggs in her dining room, there was even a Thorntons one there! Poor chocolate, just left lying round, what is this world coming too? :D

Sorry - I was trying to read with limpet-baby whingeing in my ear (not sure what's wrong with her this week, suspect she's brewing something) & just zapped out a quick reply before I forgot!

Limpet-baby is sleeping now (on my lap) so I'm sitting here knitting and making lots of lists for the new house ... I'm done with this place now, just feel like I need to get on to the next stage.

Bob, quit being so confrontational. Seriously, it's not going anywhere. I've never said my English is better than yours.

No one can possibly know what offends you, so I think you have to judge them within that... People try their best generally, but everyone's different, you know?!

    I've been Money Tipped!
Just got back to flyladying and just being a little bit more organised is making me feel better about everything! Amazing how good one clean room can make you feel!

I used a lot of white vinegar yesterday on the bathroom and the taps are so shiny! Just have to suffer the vinegar smell for a few hours but well worth it and very old style!
Our days are happier when we give people a bit of our heart rather than a piece of our mind.

Couldn't this be done by PM?

Annyyywwaaayyy (again), I am looking to make a chicken curry tonight with Jamie's curry base (which is fab) cos i made it the other day and froze loads and some leftover chicken from Sunday. Is it ok to reheat this chicken? It isn't something i've normally done.
I wanna be in the room where it happens
  • A drop of tea-tree oil or lemon oil in the white vinegar will make a big difference to tone down the vinegar smell.

Yeah, vinegar is fab and i can put up with the smell as it absorbs others. On holiday years ago we had an apartment which stank of smoke but was the only one available. A few bowls of vinegar around the place got rid of it but as soon as we emptied them when we left the smoky smell returned.

(was quite a good way of masking the smoke at home if one ever had a crafty fag while mum and dad were out too - gave up years ago, tho, that really isn't very MSE )

How many times has the chicken already been heated? Just cooked and then frozen? If so then it should be fine but I wouldn't reheat it again.

I think the advice is that it can be frozen, defrosted and heated once when raw and once when cooked? Or am I mis-remembering things?

Regardless, that's how I normally do it.

I think I need to go attempt a soup to use up some veg I got cheap on sunday! :) 2p basil should be a nice addition.
