If you dont vote then you have no right to whinge about how a political party (whoever it is) runs the country.
Voting for the current shower of politicians only justifies ther existance.
There is no alternative to voting for the big two and very little difference between them, the fact that the government takes my taxes and fritters it away on things I disagree with gives me every right to "whinge" as much as I like.

Do any of you knowledgable ladies (and gentlemen if any reading) know where I can buy larger quantities of Epsom Salts than the 200grm tub Boots sell ? I'm a bit hesitant to use Amazon or ebay for anything like this just in case it's not the real stuff :o , but I'm suffering mightily with menopausal joint and muscle pain and have read that adding a couple of cups of these to a bath can be very soothing...... I'm also sufferring severe menopausal bad temper too but don't suppose it will help with that! :D

We had a good downpour of rain twice this week and I've nearly killed myself carrying watering cans up and down the garden but everywhere is still bone dry.

    - well leastways I aint yet come across a corrupt Green Party person...disagree with sometimes maybe (ahem)...but not corrupt. The OTHER Parties on the other hand - yep...even at local level...lies/ruthlessness/self-serving/egos/etc/etc...

Apologies if this thread isn't the place for asking questions about the reason's why I feel we're in a mess with our government. I should have posted it in discussion time or something. I didn't mean to take the thread off topic or anything, I was just trying to let out my feelings of why it seems to be the 'have nots' who are being hit the hardest.

    Again, I'm really sorry :o

I thought it was ON topic, as the reason we're struggling is because of world politics. That and the environment/weather - and while you can't choose your weather, you CAN choose your government! ;)

I usually vote Green - it's a protest vote against the big 3, and puts my little pin in the *enviroment issues* camp.

Should the Greens ever become a force in British politics I can assure you the power they may wield will attract (surprise surprise) politicians.
These are a type of person I find odious in the extreme, most of them self serving, lying, devious, toss pots.
I used to be a card carrying labour activist, I found the higher up the political food chain, the lower the morals of the people I met.
