Woohoo OH got paid some commission today :j. Not a great deal but it will cover the car service next week and a few other little bits and bobs.
Went grocery shopping this morning, Tesco light choice baked beans were 4 for a pound last week and are now 4 for 99p. Makes a change for something to go down instead of up. I knew it would not be an expensive shop this week so used the opportunity to stock up on a few more cupboard staples such as pasatta, tomatoes, baked beans and tomatoe puree.
Treated the girls and me to some woopsie berries for our lunch and then had a pamper session with face packs and nail painting. Had a lovely time.
Decided to plant a few peas in the pots each side of the back door. I am not expecting a bumper crop but I do like snacking on peas straight from the pod.
Tea tonight is the left over mince carrott and courgette we had with pasta last night. Tonight it wil be reincarnated as a cottage pie. There is also some pear sponge (pears going soft in fruit bowl) and custard left over from last night for desert if we are not all too hot to eat much.I am playing all of the right notes just not necessarily in the right order.

UPDATE - they had factor 30 (or 32?) in there today, in a Simpsons tube.0 -
If you dont vote then you have no right to whinge about how a political party (whoever it is) runs the country. You have to be in it to win it!
That's my view anyway. I am not going to get into the economics of why I feel we are in this mess as it is neither the time nor the place.
Apologies if this thread isn't the place for asking questions about the reason's why I feel we're in a mess with our government. I should have posted it in discussion time or something. I didn't mean to take the thread off topic or anything, I was just trying to let out my feelings of why it seems to be the 'have nots' who are being hit the hardest.
Again, I'm really sorry0 -
