Greenbee....Thank you so much , really appreciate the information
- can I ask where you get the magnesium citrate from please?
mrswive...I feel the same about HRT and really don't want to take it, but am getting very desperate with how to cope with the pain I am now sufferring almost constantly, which is in my legs this year and was in my arms last year - same pain though it's just moved! and pain relief is useless, I might as well be swallowing smarties for all the difference they make. I've seen several doctors at our practise and am now sick and tired of being brushed off with the offer of HRT and the suggestion that perhaps losing weight would work a miracle. I'll look for that book too. Thanks very much!
Mardatha... Many thanks for the PM's - I am very grateful for the info......may the rain stop and all the kale in your garden wilt! (it IS kale you hate isn't it????)People Say that life's the thing - but I prefer reading

saveabobortwo - please, you seem to be getting quite agitated and everyone's very friendly here. Differences of opinion are just that, differences, what any of us think and post here or anywhere else is up to us, I'm more of a lurker on this thread than a poster, and would hate you to feel unwelcome or hard-shouldered, but also am getting a bit tired of reading your posts that feel to me like they're trying to flame the fires again.
Why don't we all agree to leave this political hot potato in the dying embers of a bonfire......please x0 -
How big is the biggest Lock and Lock you can get please Kittie? I have my big flour crock but will still have about 10kg of flour left in the sack to store?
I can get 2.5kg into a box that is 29 x 22 x 8 cm high and all my boxes have the same footprint, so I ended up with a tower about 4` high. I used to keep them in the cupboard under the stairs in our old house, in this one I keep them in a very windy, part open `shed`. I have taller boxes than that, probably about 16cm

Thanks very much. I will have a look. I have a cellar in which I can store things now so they can go down there.0

I wish I had a cellar, I wonder why they don`t build houses with cellars any more?0

Probably because they are a total pain to get watertight. Sometimes I think its more trouble than its worth as even with it being tanked it is still damp. I have to tackle it again after the exams and this time I will keep going until it is right.
It has recently devloped a new problem of when it rains, for some reason, the water just pours down the edge of the coal shute and onto the floor. It never used to do this so yet another issue to sort out... Now Kittie, you were saying about cellars0 -
our neighbours cellar floods when it rains.0

Oh Lord, please dont say that OT!!! It has cost me a small fortune to get it to this point. I have a few tricks up my sleeve to deal with it yet. Not least some concrete, PVA and some "black stuff".0

I don't understand your posts now, no one's giving you the cold shoulder, and why are you singling red lady out?
We had a civilised (I thought) chat about politics, there were agreements and disagreements (that's politics for ya!), some of us wanted to discuss it, some didn't, and now the convo's pretty much moved on.
I don't think anyone was ignoring you - how could we ALL be ignoring you at the same time?? - I do know that it was dinnertime, there's things on TV, and it's Friday night so people will be out/going out/settling down in front of TV or with mates, so it's bound to lull.
Anyway, glass of non-OS/MS wine for me, and the BGT results. Bit too warm tonight0 -
Hi lurked for a few days, enjoying the thread and tips just wanted to say hi and say a massive 'Thankyou' to mrswive; & taurusgb
LIGHTBULB moment!!! I have terrible pains in my legs, arms, well everywhere really!!,, its always for a week or so pre menstrually,,(sp) I dont know if I am menapausal (sp) but I do know this awful pain is horrible to live with (so am I each month LOL)
If I could just ease it each month I would be so thrilled! Thankyou I have ordered the book from amazonworth a try.
Joined Costco yesterday and bought some stuff in bulk, mostly this months offers which were savings, also some that were not exactly saving but were large quantities,,hoping that keeps me out the supermarkets/shops if I dont have to pop in all the time.
I was pleased to find bread and milk much cheaper than I can get it anywhere else. I cant make bread its either awful or delicious,if its delicious I eat the lot:o
