  • Wow, amazing, i wondered whether you had heard from them. The payments to your mum and dad will soon be gone too as I bet you pay them more when you can!

Great amount for the car, it was well worth getting the mot and getting rid :T.

Bank of mum and dad is a weird one. As soon as im paying money to them theyre giving it back to me in other ways lol eg went to mums the other weekend and she filled up my tank for me (£70), she gave the kids £20 each, paid for my sons birthday meal, had been to costco and bought me a slab of cheese, a huge pack of bacon, a large beef joint, large pack of minced steak and some other bits n bobs and refused to take the money. Then as I was leaving she offered me £100 to "take the kids out during the school holidays!" which I refused but when I got home she had slipped the money into my shopping!!! My eldest son also lives with them as he goes to Uni and took the cheaper option by staying with them. He pays them £100 a month but surprise surprise shes not been using it shes been putting it into a savings account so "he has a lump sum to pay off some of his student loan"

When mum and dad bought me the car it was a "the more you have now the less you get when we are gone" and it took me 3 months to extract the bank details from her lol

    Ah parents hey lol

  • Today I have been thinking about Christmas and will be making lists of what I need to buy and for whom. I plan on making loads of homemade treats but what I dont know yet. I do know that the kids will all be getting hampers as they usually get money and doesnt look much. Obviously the hampers will contain cash and other bits and bobs.

I need to buy gifts for DD, DS3, DS2, DS1, my mum and dad, and the dog!!

    Any ideas great fully received!!
