  • Hi, well done with the debt management, I can understand how difficult it is as a single parent. You really do need to take the child psychology issue very seriously, I come from an alcoholic fathers upbringing and i can tell you that it is damaging having 'toxic parents' in your life. At least it sounds as though you are normal and out to do the best you can. Bare in mind that your ex's behaviour has affected your children, no ifs, no buts, we learn how to build relationships by the time we are 4 years old, this is something that a child psychologist will work with.

Thanks drewwhonumba2. We now have everyone in place I think. I have had meetings with Womens Aid, 3Ps, child psychologist, doctors, school nurse, Education welfare and of course the school. We have a CAFF meeting on Friday so hopefully an action plan can now be put into place.

On the debt front, still not had any more replies regarding F and Fs but I suppose it all takes time. TC went into the bank today so I have filtered off £50 and put into an ISA so I can now officially say "Ive started saving"

Its been a busy weekend. The 2 youngest have gone their dads and my DS2 has gone to stay with his gran for afew days (my eldest lives with my mum so he wont be bored). KH collared me whilst I was their and wanted to discuss maintenance!!!

He said he would pay £300 a month in a private agreement as long as the CSA werent involved BUT the money was to be split 50/50 and he would pay it into the youngest 2s bank accounts!!! Hummm. Whilst £300 is a fantastic amount and in theory it looks good I dont think he would keep his end of the bargain and I definitely do not want the kids having that kind of money each month in their bank accounts as they can access it too easily. I have been on the CSA website and their calculator suggests that he pays £136 per month. I would be happy with this as I know its taken from source and I would receive it each month. Any other money he wishes to give to the children he can then put in their bank accounts. I think that would be a much more reasonable way to handle things and at least then I know where im at. I will tell him when he brings the children back but I dont think he will be to impressed lol.

Ive got work today after having the weekend off but I dont mind as its double time today WOOPWOOP. I need to blitz the kitchen and lounge before I go so then I can sit and chill when I get home.

Some of the seeds I planted in the garden are just coming through (lettuce, raddish, swede, cauliflower, carrots) and the other veggis are doing great. Surprising what some rain does. Mind you it has been raining for a good 12 hours now but we needed it as everything was very dry.

No post today and had nothing over the weekend. Tomorrow I will draft some more letters for F and Fs and see if anyone replies.

    Oh well best get cleaning

Have a great bank holiday monday everyone

    CC2 - £360 CLEAR
    DWP - £1684.08 CLEAR

    Wescott - £465 CLEAR

Just updating my finances as all F and Fs have been finalised and have now been paid!!! WOOP WOOP.

Ive also sold my other car and got £2700 for it!! It cost me £310 to get it through an MOT which wasnt too bad. I didnt bother to tax it. I used this money to pay off DWP (couldnt get this amount reduced) and also paid £1000 to mum.
