Mmmmmm tortillas for supper & now drowning myself in a bottle of rose while watching Euroawful whilst DD cries " make it stop Mummy please" :rotfl:
Funny thing is she hasnt even seen the real acts yet - that was just the intro
Bleu ? never was fan really, but the good thing is I've started on the paperwork & have printed my Killers tickets - 2 copies, one to keep at home & the other to hide at work in case I lose the home ones.
I think I have too many tickets but having checked out ebay - seems like everyone else has too
I'm now going to Google lapdancing & Dan29 to see where it takes me ...0 -
Noooooooo DD pressed the forbidden red button & is now seeing the lyrics & singing along - in between bouts of hysterics, I swear she hasnt touched my wine.0

Love Blue and love Eurovision. On t'cider tonight!'The road to a friends house is never long'0
-
Yay for Blue - great job
just a shame they were followed by a bunch of unforgettable gnomes on aciiiiid.
I'm on my last glass of rose now & DD has been scared into silence by the fearsome cheese emanating from the tv.
So far I reckon Hungary, Italy or Germany will win.
More wine required now & paperwork will have to wait until tomorrow0 -
Hungary were great and did I mention I love Blue!'The road to a friends house is never long'0

Well, I was close - Italy in second place.
What we need to remember is that UK is too damn cool for the Euro
I certainly dont have any cds from Azerbaijan in my collection.

Ok, somebody silly had a coffee after 3pm & is now wide awake
I've put the insomnia to good use though & have been scything through paperwork. I confess to a fondness for my home filing system; although it consists of many coloured files & folders that live in and around a basket on the floor under the pc table, there is some logic to it.
Some time ago I came up with a colour coding system & kept every category in a separate folder ie one for rent & council tax, one for utilities, one for the car stuff, one for each area of finance etc etc. Too much & too many
Having now got a lot of my stuff organised on-line & by throwing caution to the wind ( ie only keeping the previous years, bills rather than the previous 5& realising that cross contamination rarely creates a hazard in the filing department ) I've managed to streamline & simplify all home related stuff - eg rent, council tax,all utilities, media services, insurance etc. all into one folder
I'm about half way through & tomorrow need to tackle the finance paperwork _pale_
Do I need to keep the quidco drip fund bank statements that go back to 1992 . How long do I need to keep closed accounts ( as in old Barclaycard, Capital One final statements showing balance cleared) stuff for ?
Will I ever get to sleep tonight & will I ever get up tomorrow ?
Eyes closing but fingers keep typing ..... ZZZZZZzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz0 -
2.51AM :eek::eek::eek:
Better watch that caffine intake, or was it the combo of eurovision and wine?
I had tea and eurovision and took ages to get to sleep too. Must have been the late night cheese intake :rotfl:
What you up to today? I'm having a combination of cleaning, gardening, exercising and revising and cooking. Not all at the same time I might add

Blimey Lula! Thats bad .... I can't even be cheeky about that
I'd be properly zombified today if I'd been up at that hour.
In my quest to declutter, I finally opened a bottle of cider brandy that I've had for *years* - erm, I liked the taste, and I think I drank too much, my stomach was very unhappy with me - but at least its through me nowRose wine would have been better :j
2023: the year I get to buy a car0 -
Morning campers :hello:
Back again having been fuelled by another bowl of caffeine.
Ha ha to late night cheese fedupandskint :T:rotfl:
I rarely drink caffeine after 3pm but when the decluttering mood takes me I'd rather just keep going until I stop making sense.
Karmacat - sorry you 'lost' your brandyhope you're fully recovered now.
My plans for today are to complete the 3 day task list -
Finish the remainder of the laundry - one load on & the next will occur once I've managed to untangle DD from her bedding, not in a hurry though as I like peace & quiet in the mornings :shhh:
Complete the paperwork clearout
Plant out the leeks - got to be done before full moon on tuesday.
Hem the skirt I savaged a couple of weeks ago & sew some poppers in between the buttons of a lovely monsoon-via-ebay dress I wore to work last summer; before realising that it gapes around the Daphne & Delores area. A lot.
Ah well, the boys enjoyed it ... but they're not getting any sneaky previews this year.
Right, I can feel those little brown beans boiucing about in my veins so am off to get that paperwork stuff done.
Back later ...0
