    Morning all!

tigerfeet - I'd have a word with the teacher in person or by phone, and explain, usually they are thrilled to have someone bring in stuff, don't be surprised if your mum gets co-opted into doing a talk! Often things do get forgotten, and children get all upset, I know this has happened to mine a few times, but a quick chat and all is usually rectified xx

Gloomy weather here today, but ds has just informed me that tomorrow is meant to be lovely, I'm hoping that wasn't and April Fool lol! Was surprised to have to wake the troops this morning, as it's dd3's 10th birthday today! She has already had her main pressie, so had cards and bits and bobs to open, the excitement generated by a large bouncy ball wall enormous, bless! She has a friend round for dinner this evening, and has requested hm pizza that they will top themselves, so nice and easy, just need to remember to chuck the dough in the bm later!

OS stuff will involve S&S the kitchen and bathrooms, hoovering, mopping yet again, bleaching out the utility (horrible smelly dog!), washing and unloading DW. Also want to clear out a chest in my room so I can put Spudette's bits and bobs in it - bought some clothes after work last night, was on 3 for 2 plus vouchers, so very bargainous!

Will also need to do meal plan for next week and a shopping list, really need to clear the freezers a bit, so hopefully should work out fairly cheap!

Time for another cuppa now, have a good day all xxx

So in short.......... Washing all the bedding today smiley-chores047.giffollowed by a rant about the unfairness of prescription charges in this so called united kingdom, and to add insult to injury an american who works for the government telling us that they can't afford the 4½million pounds it would cost for us to have it free but we can still go into another country's civil war and spend a million pounds plus a day on that smiley-angry002.gif

    And breathe ommmmmmm

    Morning All ,

snoozer - sorry to hear about your Dad
Loulou - hope your DS feels better soon

Have been awake since 3:30 this morning 31.gif must be excited as it's my LAST DAY AT WORK TODAY :j:j:j:j:j:j Sooooo relieved, something twanged in my hip yesterday (assuming a tendon or something) and I can barely walk. Now all we have to do is hope I make a miraculous recovery so I can fill my time before the baby comes with nice baby shopping :D (having searched for bargains first of course :money:)

DH is a bit of genius - he managed to find some really nice quality second hand stuff for bubba on ebay -we got a little swinging chair for £20 instead of £70 in the shops, and a mobile for the cot for £8 instead of £20 in the shops. Am most impressed with him, I've awarded him a gold star misc-emoticon-08.gif

OS today will involve sorting out the washing and making something for tea - I have no idea what just yet.

Have lovely days all, hugs to those in need/want xx

ETA - Tappers maybe tell your DH what's happened to my DH because he left going to the doctors for nearly three weeks! He could've lost one of his testicles and is now into his third week signed off - maybe that might motivate him, although not sure how you can make him think that a bad chest could make him lose one of his fellas... :D

Tiger - Hope it all gets sorted, did DS tell anyone he had something to show? Maybe they ran out of time as often happens.

    Morning All
Wet again today, although yesterday afternoon was quite pleasant for a while but sooo windy! Head Teacher's retirement do last night which was very nice. The meal was lovely and the company good. Going in late today as it's the last of the time I have owing. DW and WM are on, can't hoover as DS1 has borrowed it for a few days while they move flats. Hope it's not too long, I miss it!!

Off for a shower in a mo. take care all. XX

    Hello Again.

Lowesy - Make the most of your last day :D:T
BB - Enjoy your trip :D - I read in the paper y'day that 80% of mums just want a lie in on mothers day :D

DD's gone to school, DH shipped off out and he had the cheek to ask me to make his brekkie whilst i was holding DS who had fell asleep on me. To which i promptly Rooooooooared :o.

So house is a bomb site and i'm on here :o, My babies have been fed and watered. I can let them out at the weekend hope the weather perks up as i don't want to let them out in this wind and drizzle :o.

Must push off and get washing going HSwash.gif

    morning all

ds was sick yet again this morning. as for what is coming out the other end... i wont even go there!

going to have a big cleaning frenzy today (or at least i plan to). all his beloved monkeys (all 6 of them :o) are going in the wash (they've already been on a hot washed once) which will not impress him  shall wait until he is asleep then prise them away from him. hopefully they will be washed and dried in no time at all

have got some of his toys in hot soapy water just in case he's put them in his mouth then transferred the germs around that way.

carpet was cleaned last night but he was sick on it this morning so thats had a thorough scrub.

all bedding has been on hot washes... dont really know what else to do other than excessive handwashing to get rid of it....

Lou - How about making a disefectant solution in a spray bottle and giving the house a good spray....to kill the airbourne (sp) viruses. DS hates his beloved eeyore going in the wash i have to put it in a pillowcase so he can't see it ;)
