Hi, this is the Daily Thread for Thursday 31st March. This is an “over the garden fence” type thread where we chat about everything Old Style and maybe a little bit more. It’s a great, inspiring and motivating thread we start each day to discuss what Old Style things we’re going to do today or what we’ve achieved already. Everyone’s welcome, please do come in, put your feet up (although check the fence hasn’t just been painted first!) and join us for an Old Style natter. The more the merrier!
As this is the Old Style Board, it would be appreciated if posts could include some Old Style content. Please be aware that many people may have small screens, or slow internet connections, so please don’t post large pictures, or clip art – links are preferred.
When you make a post, if you feel like giving it a title, that will help others that don’t have the time to read everything skim through the thread quickly but if not it's not a problem. Please do not start a new daily thread before you go to bed at night because this often leaves things confusing with two daily threads live at the same time. The idea is that a member would start each new daily thread after they get up in the morning.
Some people who chat here like to try to answer everyone. Don’t feel you have to though, a general “hi everyone, hope everyone’s well” type start does just as well.

 White rabbits, white rabbits
Pinch and a punch first day of the month
Dull and grey here, but I'll be at work so I won't notice the weather that much.
Lo rogan and saag for lunch. Going out with friends this evening so not very OS but hopefully good fun.
Will unload and load DW before I go out, will then be up to date. Cooking for 7 or 8 every day uses up lots of pots, plates and cutlery:)
Just listening to the radio - a zimmerframe skateboard!!! I want one:)
Happy Friday chaps & chapesses, hugs to those that need or want,

            Morning folks
Busy day yesterday with a lot of walking, bad night last night and I am dead on my feet.
I hate mornings!! trying to get DC2 moving and ready for school when he doesn't want to go, takes so much out of me.
Ihave a day at home today with DC3 so that will be tiring in itself, espescialy as he is tired and grumpy.
Was looking at my diary next week and I have Monday and Wednesday completely free with no appointments and the brood are at school/nursery. So I can get on with the house.BSCno.87The only stupid question is an unasked oneLoving life as a Kernow Hippy0

            Good Morning All
 April already! Its whizzing past.
Going to have a pottering day today, back is still not great so will try and take it easy so can sort it once and for all. Have some heat pads which I am going to try.
Therefore the ironing pile will be ignored  the house is quite clean and tidy and can get away will just a couple bits of essential office stuff.
Dinner tonight will be fish of some sort - see what I can find in the freezer.
 Happy Friday all.x0

            Morning all
Looks dull and overcast but supposed to be quite warm and windy here today. DH up and off to work at stupid early o'clock. Dinner last night was chicken kievs, chips, beans/veg for the menfolk, I had fish, jacket sweet potato and veg. Tonight the boys are going to MIL's, DH and I will be having a special meal, wine and afters .......!
Therapy was good yesterday. Had a haircut yesterday too. This morning I will be heading to the scales, bank and food shopping. I did manage to get all the ironing done that was dry although didn't get any housework done, so must do that today. I stripped and changed our bed, will be doing the boys beds today to take advantage of the good line drying weather! Will be cooking/baking later too, otherwise no treats for the weekend and next week's pack-ups.
MIL and FIL coming for lunch on Sunday, thought it was the right thing to do as it's first Mothers Day without nan (MIL's mum). But they haven't been over to see grandad for several weeks or bothered to phone him, it makes me so cross why they just seem so not bothered!! At least I know that DH and I are doing the right thing and he does seem to appreciate us going, families can be so awkward sometimes .....
Coffee cup drained will now head to the shower. Have a great Friday everyone.
Not much else to say really, keep safe and well everyone, hugs to those that need them.

            Morning silvermaid and everyone
Rather overcast here but sun trying to peep through. Got loads of washing still to do (plus Mount Everest of ironing, as ever!) and kids' beds to change.
DH needs the car this morning so need to leave the house not long after 8 to walk to nursery school, about a mile from us; only notice how far when we have to walk! We often walk home, but rarely get it together in time to walk there. We often walk home, but rarely get it together in time to walk there.
Tea will be some chicken legs/thighs in a BBQ sauce (some dried sauces are half price in Sainsbugs at the mo), with whatever carbs we have - pasta or rice, finishing up frozen veg, then apple and yogurt for afters.
Cuppa calling, so toodle-oo for now - hugs and kisses if you need them.
