No you do NOT need to send any money if your claim is under £1,500 so you are fine.

Hi there, just wondering if the court bundle needs to go with the allocation questionnaire, or does it go at a later date??

also, is there a definitive check list for the court bundle?

Many thanks, and keep up the good work!!

    John.

AQ first. The court bundle only comes into play if the bank's solicitors actually file a defence. Intending to defend a claim and filing a defence are two different things.

i would add that the bundle only comes into play once you have received a court date and directions from the judge.........which would be decided once he/she has looked over the A/Q from both sides.

    good luck
  • I have just recieved my 'Allocation Questionnaire' and a compliments slip from my local County Court requesting a further £100. What is this for?

Its the courts admin fee :( I take it your claim is over £1,500. Are you on benifits? You don't always have to pay this fee :) espcially if you claim any benifits ;)

It depends on the amount you are claiming - if it is under £1,500 you do not, if it is over £1,500 you do.

    Hi Guys n Girls

Just a quick question about my allocation questionnaire, do the banks solicitor get a copy of it sent from the court or should I forward it on to them too? They sent me theirs directly, with nothing new on it.

I doubt very much they will turn up in court in Skipton (North Yorkshire) just for my case! Its not the most accessible area of the world, especially if you're not local as it takes an hour to get to the M1 or M6 :D But they didn't ask for it to be at another venue (nor did I for that very reason ;)). Lets see if they can make me a better offer before the day :)

Hi there, can anyone advise me ? I have recieved the questonaire from court. in the box where it says amount in dispute, should I enter the total amount claimed (including interest etc)? or should I enter the amount minus the 680. recieved from abbey as payment? (which I refused as full and final payment) and explain this in the box provided. ( I forgot to mention this in the intitial claim to the court). Or should I just leave it as it is and see what happens? The account is 1,049.00 overdrawn (because of all the charges) which I will have to pay them back anyway .(for which they have threatened leagal action against me) Would appreciate any advese ASAP.

Enter the full amount including interest and any additional charges etc but not the court fee, no need to mention any goodwill payments till it comes to finanl settlement!
