Not that I'll be taking up the offer, mainly because our Boots is so small it doesn't have an ACM machine, but what is the gift set you get? Just being nosy
The gift set is a Sanctuary Spa Me Time Gift Box - GWP when you spend £10 on ANY Sanctuary product(s) It contains:
Body Wash 75ml (2.53Floz)
Body Scrub 50ml (1.69Floz)
Body Butter 50ml (1.69Floz)
Hand Cream 30ml (1.01Floz)
You don't need an ATM voucher for the GWP - and it's online too0 -
Hi guys
Just popped in to confess to some purchases:o
A Batiste dry shampoo - I have 1 in use but none in my stash so this is the replacement for when it runs out
2 X S&G Clean Mary - I really like this and its been discontinued in B**ts - found 2 though on the clearance shelf there today so snapped them up:eek::eek:
Whilst in there (B**ts that is) I checked the ACM but it had nothing of interest for me although someone else had left their card in it so I took it out and handed it straight in at the tills:A
For my good turn please can I avoid the naughty step???;)
Not sure if I've already listed this months UU's so just in case I wont bore you with the details but so suffice to say the current count is 5 and I've a couple of splutters so will increase soon.
One of the splutterer's is a renew oil that I got from Wilko's and I'm sure there have been recommendations on here for another cheapy but good one and i can't find the message - anyone know what it is?:D:D Was it the one from Aldi that someone mentioned? - that caught my eye too.
Oh and finally someone was talking about a tea tree shampoo they were using that has really helped their scalp. does anyone know who it was so I can PM them for the make as I really really must try it?:D

Just caught up with everything, love and hugs all round.
Well... an expensive, unplanned afternoon for me and I never left my chair. 169 euros to be precise.
My son (27 going on 16) has been on holiday in Tenerife for 10 days, staying with a friend. All the time I've had the nagging feeling that he would miss his flight home - and he duly did, he misread the time it departed.
He had to get home to be back at work 8 am tomorrow. I was supposed to be out this afternoon having lunch with colleagues, but a friend had said yesterday that she would help me straighten out son's room following the heating installation last week.
It didn't need sorting but she needed to feel useful, (long story) so I agreed - thank God I did, as I was home to take the panicked phone call from my son and pay for another flight (he'd left his cards at home, he's incident-prone....).
Most of me is very relieved but a little bit of me is really angry that he didn't properly check the flight times.
I was going to email him to remind him of them, then thought,' No, he'll only be annoyed with you for treating him like a child.'
However, it is easy to miss flights even when you turn up at what you reckon will be the right time, July 2009 I nearly got stuck in Dublin after a chat room meet (then called Irish Chat).
I'd turned up c. 90 minutes before my flight, as that was usually fine from Dublin - except that this time it wasn't, thanks to hordes of Springsteen fans, who were all catching early flights home to the UK after the Boss's concerts.
The delays getting through passenger check were horrendous.... I am disabled, a couple saw me hobbling the half - mile to the gate and invited me to hop on their 'buggy' - I hadn't thought I'd need one so hadn't booked one. I caught the flight with a couple of minutes to spare.... I have NEVER felt such overwhelming relief.
Incidentally, when I was stood at the bus station waiting to come home today, I rang my friend, who cried off helping me after all, it was too late to go for the meal by then though.... Sometimes things are just meant.
Mags' link to beauty.ie reminded me of my finding (in 2000) an Irish women's website called Lipstick, that had the link to Irish Chat. I met many people in real life through that chat room, including one long relationship with someone who seemed perfect ,,, it was a sad ending, but if I'd gone to live in 'Norn Iron' , I wouldn't have the career I have now.
Completely off topic but there you are...
On Topic - Home Bargains had seemingly loads of new stuff in today, I didn't dare look too closely. Did see Hello Kitty travel size shampoo and lotion though. Well, whilst waiting for eternity (!) I decided to dig out a Lush scrub I think I bought beginning of last year. All I can say is ow! I seriously wouldn't stash these again. The sugar's gone hard so it's pretty painful, but I'm going to perservere!
Thanks for the old tights idea for the ballistic, I finally used the Lush Supernova I was totally dreading.

L'Occitane Lavendar Hand Cream 30ml - WIBA? Well as you ladies know I already have as part of the Lavendar trio last month. This has got to be the quickest I've got through a hand cream, but it's probably because I actually used it when I needed to, so my hands aren't suffering as much. I think I'm going to dig out a S&G hand food to use first though. Have 2 I think but never tried it.
Lush Supernova (?) ballistic - WIBA? I don't think so. No reason in particular, but I think the main point is the confetti in it which I wanted to avoid (hence loving the tights idea). I have to add I got it in a goody bag last year and didn't knowingly choose it.
Far too tired mentally to do my nails though they do need doing - they're still the green/gold from Monday. So I'll just have to do them tomorrow.
Going to do a couple of sudoku puzzles then try to sleep. No doubt I won't be able to resist the temptation, comfort & sanctuary (no pun intended) of this board though, so I'll probably pop in later

Ssshhhhh:rotfl::rotfl::o
No more at least until EH is back and eats her breakfast scrub!! :j:j:D
I've done my nails tonight.. no17 gold crackle over my [STRIKE]chipped so I needed to cover it up with minimal effort[/STRIKE] betty blues I think it was called? from earlier this week. Looks ok. Some nails have 'crackled' a lot better than others though.
I also used BS raspberry scrub earlier - weeeird! It was like putting jam on my legs:rotfl: Not sure if I like it. At least it didn't have the greasiness after like S&G scrubs. Wonder what it would taste like in a sandwich...:j0 -

Thanks Sarah, or not as the case may be.
I wasn't even tempted to get it but now thinking about it I'm visiting my mum and sister tomorrow and my sister lives 5 mins from a big Boots. I could (hopefuly) take advantage of the ACM machine there.

Haven't managed to have a pampering session tonight at all. Had a drink with DH last night for the first time in ages. I had 4 SMALL glasses of wine and have spent the entire night and the entire day throwing up. I was rendered completely incapable by a monstrous hangover. Thankfully it was nice weather and the kids just played outside with their mates. Having become so ill from not a lot of wine, I have decided that I'm not going to drink any more. The last few times I've had a drink, I've ended up going to bed all flushed and burning up after 1 glass so obviously alcohol doesn't agree with me now I'm older.
My goodness I felt crap though. I was able to have an apple at 7pm. I then managed an ice cream at 8pm and have been able to keep 2 drinks down since then. Bleurghwell, off to bath tomorrow for the day. Hopefully there is an H&M there so I can return DS's new jeans which the seam is ripped apart on.
