Morning ladies!:j
No INs, no UUs, no nothing (probably because i've just woke up:p).. apart from a headache:cool:Got a problem - I've decided I really don't like the Elle MacPherson body butter - like dd says, it smells too manly! Think it might end up as an OUT as I'm thinking of offering it on freegle to see if anyone wants it - along with the other stuff from the same range.I have a tube of Clean Mary for swapsies. I just don't like it, not sure why, so I have a brand new 75ml tube, open to offersPM me.
These posts got me thinking. We must all have bits we've tried and don't like, bought but won't use, are dreading using up because we don't like the smell, or how the product feels on our skin etc, but things we can't return and are not worth eBaying because they're open or we've used a bit. And there must be other people on this thread who want to try those products, or they use them/like them etc. What about setting up a little swap shop type thing?:D They could count as free 'INs' because you're not actually buying them:money: I think it would need to be done off MSE because of the privacy rules (private facebook group?) and we could all post our swaps lists and hopefully get rid of some of our stashes we're not looking forward to using:j I don't know, just an idea from these posts:D I know I've PMd a couple of people when they've said they like something I have that I don't like and I can't be the only one of us who has, but I was thinking if there was a group with lists it may be easier:rotfl: Just an idea:cool: What do others think?:j0 -
I also used BS raspberry scrub earlier - weeeird! It was like putting jam on my legs:rotfl: Not sure if I like it. At least it didn't have the greasiness after like S&G scrubs. Wonder what it would taste like in a sandwich...
I used to have some of the Body Shop raspberry body wash and the almond body lotion, and one day decided to layer them to see if it'd make me smell like a Bakewell tartSadly it didn't quite work but oh well.

:rotfl: That's a good idea! Shame it didn't work though.
Now i'm wondering what I can layer up to see if I can smell like cakey goodness:rotfl::j0 -

that sounds like a really good idea:j I have a clinique DD lotion which has given me awful spots and I've only used twice,it would be a shame to have to throw it away:(I think the body exfoliating gloves are fantastic! I've had a generic Boots pair, and currently using a Body Shop pair and both have been great. Just as good, if not better, than any body scrub I've used, and none of the messy bits everywhere or greasy residue left over! Would definitely recommend! x
Thank you:) I have the BS bath lily things(from the gift sets) and find they are much softer than others, so I thought of buying the gloves from there as well. Had a look on the boots website and they are £2.50 and the BS are £4:T Will definitely be buying them once I have finished a fairy tail scrub and mini moringa:j
although I do want to have a go at making my own bath bombs and scrubs:D
Also finished pure glycerine cream this morning. WNBA- prefer nivea soft. Only have mini moringa BB in stash now for body moisturisers:jI have a small cherry blossom BB and mango whip somewhere but I can't find them :think:Toiletry spend £34.95 In: 10 out:130 -

That's a great idea!
We all have products that we've tried and not liked, bought and know that we'll never use them. This way we can try products that we might have gone out and bought otherwise.
1 UU for me, a pack of Boots sensitive cleansing wipes, WBA but I have 12 packs of wipes to get through first:eek:0 -

Exactly:money: We would save money and get our stashes under control
I know i've bought stuff i'll never use just because it's a brand I like, just because it was there or it's something you think you should be using but probably never will after the first time. I know it will sit there forever, but because it's opened, been sprayed, been used once/twice i'm so limited with what I could do with it (sell for pennies on ebay or bin, basically!) so I just thought it would help us get rid of stuff we don't need and try some different things:money:
If a few more people think it's a good idea maybe we could find a way of getting it set up :j I don't think we could do it on here, it's against MSE rules to share addresses etc I think and we don't want the thread closed. But a private FB group that can only be seen if you're a member of said group which you have to be invited to could work?
Just thinking out loud:rotfl: Glad others think it's a good idea too:D:j0 -

I am officially a yo-yo. It's like super mood swings without the pmt :o I am obviously on a high (I know he loved me and loves me and that's all that matters - yay) from this morning's low (I can't live without him, etc).Dr_Roberto wrote: »Hey . sorry this photo is so big but dunno how to resize :rotfl:

Mccullch - did your son get to work on time today in the end?
Fiasco - I know! I do love puzzles - especially sudoku. Crosswords I'm not so good with
Has anybody tried the Zumba console game things out of curiosity?
Also, has anybody tried the BS coconut shimmer bb? I don't need any yet - but just wondering what it's like.
And my Bliss The Youth As We Know It cleanser has started spluttering :T Then I can use the Clarins one that's waiting for me in my cupboard. Or the Sanctuary one. Or...No buying unnecessary toiletries/makeup in May: Unnecessary spend £17.60

A UU for me today - my Elemis cleanser WBA, but just off to see what (how many) in my stash before making a trip into town. I'm convinced I must have at least 1 in the cupboard, if I get off my backside and look for it!!

Amazing Grace body lotion - have cut the tube open this morning to get the last out of it. Never done this before,:o was amazed how much was left in there.
Throat gel, no need to but again (but def would HG product for me) a I have 7 (yes really) in my stash!
So £1 more in the pot for me - with the excitement of another £2 close behind. I love this game I'm playing with myself!!Scrappie

Of course! Everyone from the thread will be invited!:D
I think it will mean adding each other to Facebook to do the invites, because I don't think there's a way to invite people that aren't on your friends list, but if people aren't comfortable with that they could add for 5 minutes to get the invite done then remove and just be in the group
I'll see how many more people are interested over the weekend then get it done:D Unless anyone can think of a reason it's a bad idea:o:j0
