Blimey Kaz - that wine must've been strong!!!

Cant understand why Boots doesnt have the option to check for card offers online and printable vouchers.............I'm sure I'm not the only one who has no big Boots nearby with a machine! :(

Got a problem - I've decided I really don't like the Elle MacPherson body butter - like dd says, it smells too manly! Think it might end up as an OUT as I'm thinking of offering it on freegle to see if anyone wants it - along with the other stuff from the same range.

Just a quick question for you all - I've had yet another email from the Body Shop, and whilst I'm happy to resist their latest offers, it has come to my attention that there exists a 'facial brush' which I assume you use with cleanser to help deep cleanse and exfoliate - thus possibly erradicating the need for a separate exfoliator...

Have any of you lovely ladies tried this brush? If so, does it work? It's only £3, so thinking it might be worth a go - less bottles, and if it lasts long enough it'll save me money long term - in the same way the body exfoliating gloves are going to save me fortune on body scrub!

Any opinions appreciated! :D and thanks in advance!
    xx
I haven't got the one from the Body Shop, but I do have a facial brush from Lancome. I bought it years ago (probably 10+?). I really like it - it helps my facial cleanser lather well (I use a wash-off one), and makes my skin feel nice. I do, however, still use facial scrubs once or twice a week, since I feel that they scrub in a different way.

My brush was a lot more than £3. If I didn't have one already (well two really - one at bf's house!), then I would get one from the Body Shop, as £3 is an excellent price and I really enjoy using mine.

Oh and finally someone was talking about a tea tree shampoo they were using that has really helped their scalp. does anyone know who it was so I can PM them for the make as I really really must try it?:D:D
That may well have been me :)

If so, it was the Australian Bodycare one. I think it's really good.

Well, whilst waiting for eternity (!) I decided to dig out a Lush scrub I think I bought beginning of last year. All I can say is ow! I seriously wouldn't stash these again. The sugar's gone hard so it's pretty painful, but I'm going to perservere!

Thanks for the old tights idea for the ballistic, I finally used the Lush Supernova I was totally dreading.

    UUs
L'Occitane Lavendar Hand Cream 30ml - WIBA? Well as you ladies know I already have as part of the Lavendar trio last month. This has got to be the quickest I've got through a hand cream, but it's probably because I actually used it when I needed to, so my hands aren't suffering as much. I think I'm going to dig out a S&G hand food to use first though. Have 2 I think but never tried it.
Lush Supernova (?) ballistic - WIBA? I don't think so. No reason in particular, but I think the main point is the confetti in it which I wanted to avoid (hence loving the tights idea). I have to add I got it in a goody bag last year and didn't knowingly choose it.

Far too tired mentally to do my nails though they do need doing - they're still the green/gold from Monday. So I'll just have to do them tomorrow.

Going to do a couple of sudoku puzzles then try to sleep. No doubt I won't be able to resist the temptation, comfort & sanctuary (no pun intended ;)) of this board though, so I'll probably pop in later :)

I must admit I am a bit addicted to sudoku puzzles. I couldn't do them before last summer (just didn't quite understand them) until I had a serious back injury and couldn't leave the house for months. My best pal bought me a Nintendo DS as a birthday gift with the brain training games to help my brain function as I was climbing the walls. Still do some games every night in bed - trying to beat my best times and I still wonder why I am single!!!

I also have a facial brush to - a Clinique one what was a GWP from the states. I use it about once a week and find it builds a good lather.

No INs no UUs to report.

My son is safely home ...apparently the friend he stayed with -ex-pat- had chided him for being so British in wanting to be at the airport early - he only misread the time by 30 mins but that was enough.
All is well. I'm going to sleep in the riser-recliner as he's got to be in work for eight am!

Pudsey - I saw loads of the Elle Mc stuff on clearance in Boots this week so it looks like it wasn't too popular.

Kaz - poor you. I don't think I could give up wine, only drink at the weekends but really look forward to it.

Am going for a shower in a min, have decided to put Flake Away away for a bit and see how i feel about it later. Will be cracking open my Dead sea salt scrub with frankincense oil - looks and smells lovely.

Two little uu, olay regenerist 3 point serum and flawless skin cream, both 7ml samples which I used on my neck, found the cream a bit greasy for me so definitely not one for my face but did think the serum was lovely. Have had to put my beloved Lift and Luminate creams away too, my skin wasn't doing too well and I thought it might be them. Returned two brand new ones this week aswell. have gone back to my £3.99 nivea oil free day cream which i love and am using my glamour mag moisture surge as a night cream. Really like the moisture surge, there is no greasiness at all, it just all sinks in. Will see how I get on with this combination.
