The whole situation with upstairs is somewhat intriguing and frustrating!
Don't live under my mum do you?:rotfl:

Well there was a young married couple my age living there - thier whole thing was a bit wierd and they were never actually there as they were always at thier parents houses, No idea but a bit strange but they would normally come home about 10pm at night and you wouldn't really hear them, lately though Ive no idea whats going on - they are still living there but they have now turned into elephants who seem to be there all day...:o
Nothing sorted as such. nothing has been mentioned..Although I did notice that there is now huge chunk out of the wall and door so probably loose our deposit now....don't even ask me how he's managed that one as Ive no idea and he ignored me when I asked him about it last night.
To be honest I can understand him being in a bit of a bad mood lately - hes being treat like !!!! at work, tis a long story which I shant take to bore you all with...
Is anyone else getting REALLY fed up with seeing/hearing about the royal wedding - Ive had the tv on less than 2 minutes and theres already been 2 adverts about it.....It just seems to be shoved in your face everywhere you go!MFW 2020 #111 Offset Balance £69,394.80/ £69,595.11

Another UU - Radox limited edition lavendar shower gel, WIBIA maybe, I think I got it on special offer for about 74p so yes, but have plenty more to use first
Went to BS today and their sale loks to be finsihed, still trying to figure a way to use my Groupon voucher.:o
I gave mine to my sister - it's her problem now! :rotfl:Did you guys know that Debenhams is stocking Sanctuary online?? I was so surprised. And they're doing 20% off at the moment. I was looking at the Sleep set in Boots yesterday, but it was excluded from the 300 points offer. I'm going to resist as much as I can, but it does look really nice. And I wouldn't be adding too much to my stash as there's no free gift. But I would be saving money.. Hmm.....
Oooh really? Sneaks off to have a look....I noticed they still have GOK sets at Boots online :rotfl:
I am working at home today :j and finish at 4pm so am going to be really hedonistic and start my pampering then!! Havent been very inspired this month, dunno why. Maybe cos the sunshine was dangled in front of me for a few days and then snatched cruelly away. Still got a NIL spend for me. That may also be why...no retail therapy..
Is it sad that I got excited opening a new tub of E45 today? It was all shiny and new!
Cut up my No 7 day cream. Had to use a stanley knife - don't worry I have my users safety certificate.
I used to live under this couple who put down wooden floors. God it was a nightmare. I eventually told her and she said she had no idea how loud it was for me, very sorry, etc .....
Those of you with cats will relate this this - waiting for the vet to visit - my cats are being kept in and driving me MAD!!
Sawan - you poor thing, he's a !!!!!, I'm sorry. I've had boyfriends who have just morphed overnight from a great bloke to a SH**E!!!!!. Ha ha mse deleted out the word I originally put here!
Tell him you've got a new boyf and see how he likes it.Less stuff, more life, love, laughter and cats!
Even if I'm on the shopping threads, it doesn't mean I'm buying! Sometimes it's good to just look and then hit the CLOSE button!0 -
:rotfl: How strange!
That doesn't sound goodI hope you're ok and manage to sort things soon x

Hi Charlie
Sounds like you need to get out of the flat - at least during the day - but from my experience I'm guessing you are feeling stuck indoors so you dont spend any money?
I'm sure the gals on here can come up with some ideas for you? I've recently taken up - don't laugh - sewing! Mainly repairing stuff that I've bought and legs too long or some old favourite with the hem fallen down. Also cut up an old duvet for the cats and took me aaaages to sew up the edges! Kept me out of trouble anyway.
I am going out of London to get away from the flipping Royal wedding. Off to Devon to see my friend. Can you believe it though - she wants me to come to a bl**dy street party down there!! Ha ha if she's reading this, she knows how I feel :rotfl:Less stuff, more life, love, laughter and cats!

Also have a slightly off topic IN to report but I really felt the need to share it with you all. I had been reading a review in the Guardian about the Babyliss Big Hair Spinning Brush and the woman waxed lyrical about how good it was. So the next day I thought I'd read the reviews online and almost without exception they were all really positive. So, of course, I caved and bought one (after a lot of tracking down as it seems to sell out really quickly). Anyway, I took it home half thinking that it'll be another useless gadget that is rarely used and cursing myself for spending £45 on a novelty item.
HOWEVER! I can honestly say it's fantastic. You dry your hair until it's about 80% dry with your normal hairdryer then use the spinning brush to add volume and shine. And it really works! My straighteners (which I used on a daily basis) have been packed away which can only be a good thing for my hair and the OH / colleagues have commented on how shiny and bouncy my hair is.
Apologies if I am encouraging spending but I have suffered from flat, dull, thin hair for so long and have finally found something that works!
xx
Oh bother, now I want one of these too!! :rotfl::rotfl:
Just a quick question for you all - I've had yet another email from the Body Shop, and whilst I'm happy to resist their latest offers, it has come to my attention that there exists a 'facial brush' which I assume you use with cleanser to help deep cleanse and exfoliate - thus possibly erradicating the need for a separate exfoliator...
Have any of you lovely ladies tried this brush? If so, does it work? It's only £3, so thinking it might be worth a go - less bottles, and if it lasts long enough it'll save me money long term - in the same way the body exfoliating gloves are going to save me fortune on body scrub!
Any opinions appreciated!and thanks in advance!

I was thinking the same thing! I have seen a botanics brush for £6 but the BS one is the cheapest I've seen. I think I might give it a go once my st ives scrub is finished, the brush is cheaper than one scrub:eek: I also want to try body exfoliating gloves, body scrubs are so messy and I end up with sandy bits EVERYWHERE:rotfl:Toiletry spend £34.95 In: 10 out:130 -

I think the body exfoliating gloves are fantastic! I've had a generic Boots pair, and currently using a Body Shop pair and both have been great. Just as good, if not better, than any body scrub I've used, and none of the messy bits everywhere or greasy residue left over! Would definitely recommend! x0
