No xoxo you do not need this. Seriously, it is not that great once applied. I bought the mini set for Emma and apart from the dark pink the other colours are wishy washy although at the weekend she painted her nails with a purple Barry M colour and put this one on top and that looked fabulous.

    Thanks:D I've resisted so far :D

I'm determined not to have any INs until EH is back anyway so she has to eat her breakfast scrub:rotfl: If ever there was a reason to stick to it that's it:rotfl::rotfl: Sorry EH :p

Well I have an IN this morning.... unfortunately it wasn't what I was expecting - ordered those free tights someone posted on here, but instead when I opened my parcel I found a big bottle of Aveeno Positively Luminous - part of the Glamour mag trials. Oh well free stuff so I can't complain :)

How are you doing hun? Did you sort things out? Not being nosey, just worried x

  • One OUT for me this morning - Body Shop Black Velvet Apricot Bath & Shower Nectar. WBA as it smelt really nice - like peach iced tea - and was nicely moisturising, but it was a Christmas 2009 special edition (I know, I know) and last year they replaced it with something orange scented so I don't think it'll be coming back any time soon.

I have no clue what colour to paint my nails for Friday pampering though - I've got loads of ideas for nail art but I just can't pick one!

Not so bad...incredibly tired and hungry but thats just because Im exceptionally bored.... Im not used to having so little to do, but Im trying to get on top of things now - wanna get the house tidied and the mountain of washing done so at least Ill have something to occupy my mind...Spent the entire day watching TV yesterday  Litterally didn't move until about 8pm when I went to cook dinner..thats bad! So trying to get myself motivated a bit more:p

Seriously fed up with being stuck in the house all day because Ive no idea what's going on in the flat upstairs but its driving me absolutely freaking mental! - seems to be an elephant who walks back and forth between the lounge and kitchen about 2million times a day and constantly opening and closing the draws in the kitchen.... The whole situation with upstairs is somewhat intriguing and frustrating!

Oh and in the shower last night I had a sort of revelation - I was using the Olive BS shower gel and I finally figured out what it smells like - Hollister shops! Been trying to figure out what it reminds me of since I opened the damn thing

Unfortunately the whole money from surveys isnt working out too well for me, turns out most of the sites have a cash out of £25 or something else ridiculous, very convineintly I get half way through answering the questions then it tells me Im not longer eligible etc so I never get paid... Theres only 3 which seem to be any way decent but convinently as soon as Ive got near the payout level the surveys have stopped...one pays out at £10 and is meant to have at least 3 new surveys a day, ever since I got to £7 the has been absolutely nothing available for me. Only one Ive actually managed to cash out - but that was only £3 which is hardly amazing.....
Also no luck for me on the mystery shopping malarky either, a job came up at my local BS and I even received an email from them specifically about it because Im in that area but I try to 'apply' for it and every time I answer their questions (correctly I hasten to add) it tells me I have not got them right so I cant do it....

Hello Ladies! Hope everyone is doing ok and cuddles for everyone who is needing them.

One UU to report - No 7 Quick Thinking 4 in 1 Face Wipes - WIBA? Only if I had a £5 voucher, otherwise they are a silly price. Have moved onto a pack of the Primark wipes that my mama gave me - they're not the best but they were free!

Also have a slightly off topic IN to report but I really felt the need to share it with you all. I had been reading a review in the Guardian about the Babyliss Big Hair Spinning Brush and the woman waxed lyrical about how good it was. So the next day I thought I'd read the reviews online and almost without exception they were all really positive. So, of course, I caved and bought one (after a lot of tracking down as it seems to sell out really quickly). Anyway, I took it home half thinking that it'll be another useless gadget that is rarely used and cursing myself for spending £45 on a novelty item.

HOWEVER! I can honestly say it's fantastic. You dry your hair until it's about 80% dry with your normal hairdryer then use the spinning brush to add volume and shine. And it really works! My straighteners (which I used on a daily basis) have been packed away which can only be a good thing for my hair and the OH / colleagues have commented on how shiny and bouncy my hair is.

Apologies if I am encouraging spending but I have suffered from flat, dull, thin hair for so long and have finally found something that works!

Off to London Town this weekend for a friend's birthday so hopefully UU a couple of minatures / sachets while I'm there. I have a few splutterers on the go as well so will no doubt be reporting back soon.

    Have a fantastic weekend everyone!

    xx

Thanks ACCA, that's really useful info! I saw these in probably the same article and was immediately thinking of buying them but thought that £45 was a lot to spend on a gadget. However, it's good to hear your experience, so I will buy some next payday! I've got very very flat hair. :(

I haven't been on here in ages but have had lots of UUs/splutterers. Am now off on holiday for 2 weeks but will list them on my return, as should have lots of little things done then too. :D

Did you guys know that Debenhams is stocking Sanctuary online?? I was so surprised. And they're doing 20% off at the moment. I was looking at the Sleep set in Boots yesterday, but it was excluded from the 300 points offer. I'm going to resist as much as I can, but it does look really nice. And I wouldn't be adding too much to my stash as there's no free gift. But I would be saving money.. Hmm.....
