Oooh, my daughter's had a very similar cut and variations on a close theme a few times, Kaz she is brunette and I think it looks great, despite Metro being !!!!!y about how it looked on Kerry.

Whatever was done to my hair, (cut, colour, curl) my son would point and laugh until he was practically adult, it used to drive me mad. The style I have now is the same one I had 13 years ago, the cheeky so and so put a pic on FB with the caption 'Your hair was so different then....' I'm getting the last laugh in a way, he has early onset male pattern hair thinning (not quite baldness).

Hopefully your DD is very happy with her new cut too and basking in compliments.
Short hair on kids is so much easier to style first thing in the morning, well I think so anyway.
I can remember battling with my daughter's long hair, so fine and tangly. And de-tangler hadn't been invented then.

Spent 15 minutes responding to Kaz and then lost the thing... lots of hugs and supportive thoughts, with your nursing background you've probably investigated the DD hormones / early puberty thing, which jumped into my mind.

    On topic - don't shoot me - http://www.supersavvyme.com/product/triedandtested/pantene/pantene-pro-v-aqua-light.aspx

A freebie sample of Pantene shampoo and conditioner, Pro -V aqua - light.

Nooooo! Don;t do it - this is the one that everyone has been referring to as "Aqua Sh17e"!!! :rotfl:

oh my days I think Im dying.....bit drastic but Ive not been like this for a long while...Not totally uncommon I had/have a sugar level problem but as long as I eat regular meals and avoid certain things Im ok normally but yesterday evening I felt a bit faint and had to make myself a very sugary coffee which did the trick. Felt fine all day today but just had to pop to town to get some dinner, was in the queue to pay and I could feel myself going. Thankfully I know roughly how long Ive got before the inevitable happens and sometimes Im quick enough to catch it - somehow I managed to get myself outside, even though by this point I couldn't even see properly - just had to sit down on the floor in the middle of town in the pouring rain to stop myself flaking out totally.... Finally came back to some sense of normality and ended up buying myself a choco bar and a fizzy drink and just had to muster the strength to make it home but god do I feel terrible now.
Don't know whats going on, not missed meals, not eaten things I shouldn't so it doesn't make any sense for it to be coming back :( think I may go have a lie down

Definitely sounds like stress isn't helping. I'm Hypoglaecemic so have similar issues to you - one thing I do know, and I suspect that you do too, is that sugary coffee and chocolate are not the things you should be eating when your sugars are low. Sorry to be a party pooper, but a banana, some oatcakes, granary toast or wholewheat cereal would be a far better option, and won't maintain the cycle of slump/raise/slump either. The choccy bar is a good option to get you out of trouble though - although better still would be to carry some glucose tablets with you as they are vile so you won't be tempted just to eat them!

It does sound like he's having some crazy mood-swings. I send hyou all good wishes to get the situation sorted - but if he won't talk about it then I can't see how you are going to manage it.

I must remember to stash a selection of lip balms in my various pockets and bags to take on holiday - I use it constantly up there so always make sure I have several about my person! I've already got a Neutrogena one in (somewhere - can't remember where I put it but I guess it will turn up!) and will add a Clinique Superbalm tinted, and probably a softlips one as well. Can't wait now - this time tomorrow we will be on our way! :j I have my toiletries all listed out on my iPhone so I can tick off what I UU while I'm there - hopefully that will also prompt me to be able to give you some reviews when I'm back as well!

Yes. I also had a purple mascara (I now own a plum one again) and a white one although that was dodgy and looked like tippex on my lashes. Strangely, not many other people were wearing this colour! I'm not sure I could wear blue mascara again either.

I had a bath earlier and may have a UU to report. My HG Decleor Herbal Clay Mask. The tube was all squashed in by the time I had finished with it. Will cut it open on my next application to see if there is any inside otherwise I will need to repurchase this.
Back for the No Buying Toiletries challenge. I pledge to only buy when I run out of a product that is not already in my stash no matter what wonderful emails land in in my Inbox or threads I read on MSE re: glitches!

    Evening everyone

I really feel for your situation charlie - I know what it feels like as I have had some humdingers with my DH recently and I always feel really fragile for days afterwards. Have you got good friends and family around you that you can turn to? I have a few friends that know my situation who I can turn to during a bad phase and it really helps. As my Mum used to say "this too shall pass".

Onto to other toiletry related stuff -
Feel I have turned a corner! There was a L'occitane footcream grabbit on the grabbit board and I didn't buy it and it actually didn't take too much resisting -result!

    One little UU@
L'occitane Ruban D'orange Soft Skin Milk 30ml. WIBA? - can't they have discontinued it. Using their orange sugar scrub and it is nice but not altogether pleasant to use -skin feels lovely afterwards and it smells great but I think the 400ml size will take forever to use up.:(

I finally used up a foundation today - Bourjois Healthy Mis in light vanilla. I would buy again, once I finish off the mineral matte mousse that's living in my handbag. So down to one foundation and a tinted moisturiser on the face painting side :)
