Charlie - just wanted to say hope you're ok and working everything out with OH. xx

Meh - not really... After the other night he kept insisting I went shopping with him, which I did begrudgingly. Never really talked about anything.

we're 'fine' now - if you call pretending nothing ever happened fine...

To be honest we're less than fine thats for sure, I mean when we went shopping the other day he said 'oh you'll have to pay next week' - what part of "I HAVE NO MONEY" does he not understand?

I told him every day since saturday we need to go through the bills, which STILL has not been done, never mind the fact the CT should have been paid 2 days ago....(he refuses to set up a DD which would avoid this problem).

I worked it out that *if* I can increase my overdraft to the max - another £150 then I can scrape by this month, and be left with £97 towards next month but considering my HALF of the bills alone (not including shopping) come to £270 I shall officially be broke next month, of course thats not even including anything I might actually need to buy nor does it mean Im actually going to be able to buy OH any presents for his birthday next week....

Aaaaahh Kaz - 7  Well maybe she'll have grown out of it before she hits her teens - you can only hope!

I used to wear stacked platforms (this was in the early 90's revival ;)) but soon stoppped after twisting/spraining my ankle for the eleventy-tenth time :rotfl:

DD has special insoles prescribed by the hospital but she will not wear them. TBH we gave in trying to make her after the third pair of shoes we bought 'went missing' and she continued to wear those stupid ballet pumps to school that her mother kept buying her. Last straw for us was when we got a very polite letter from the school asking for a formal GP's letter explaining why she 'had' to wear UGG's to school  We had no idea she was changing from her good, supportive (not bloody cheap either) school shoes into her UGGs everyday

And don't even get me started on the contact lenses the optician told her would ruin her eyes if she started wearing them before she was 18 (she has Juvenile Arthritis - hence the eye and feet problems) but her mother just wandered off and bought her them anyway  and it will be OH and I who take all the flak when she 's 21 and can barely walk or see

Apart from that, and the attitude and the drinking and the smoking and the money-grabbing. self-centredness - she's a lovely girl :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

    Rant Over :o

Charlie - daytime TV sucks :p I'm stuck at home quite often and can't bear to turn the TV on - but I do Sky+ a lot for when I'm too sick to get off the sofa :D

Would it help your OH if you made a budget - maybe he would understand more if he saw it in black and white? I had terrible problems getting my OH to understand how much things really cost - I now have a book which I write down all our incomings and outgoings each month - including the 'little' things we tend to forget about like train fares and birthday presents - and he can see where all the money goes. It's really helped us so much. He used to earn twice as much as he does now - and I used to work too - and now we just have his smaller income and my disability benefits it's been harder for him to adjust.

Poor man must hate me sometimes as he's on a fairly strict 'free spending' allowance (money he can do what he wants with without having anything to show for it) but all our bills are paid, we have very little debt and this year we are managing three holidays (ok - two are Sun £9.50 holidays and one is a visit to my mum combined with the Red Letter day thing I won - but we still have to find train fares/spending money etc) all which he couldn't manage if he was in charge of our finances :p

    Back OT :D

OH has shaved his beard off   I hate it :( I much prefer him with it but he says his skin needs to breathe (probably true but *rollseyes* anyway :rotfl:) so I've told him he has to start looking after his skin properly - so yay! more ways to use up my stash :T Tonight we are starting him slowly with a gentle face scrub (the Boots Cucumber one I bought by mistake is going to come in handy) and I have some Nivea samples in my travel kit he can use. He says he'll re-grow it when we go on holiday in May - I can't wait - he looks like a pasty-faced dough boy without it :rotfl:

Do any of your OH's have a skin routine? Is there anything 'manly' they would recommend for a mid-40's, never taken any notice of his skin before, moisturising virgin? :D

oh my days I think Im dying.....bit drastic but Ive not been like this for a long while...Not totally uncommon I had/have a sugar level problem but as long as I eat regular meals and avoid certain things Im ok normally but yesterday evening I felt a bit faint and had to make myself a very sugary coffee which did the trick. Felt fine all day today but just had to pop to town to get some dinner, was in the queue to pay and I could feel myself going. Thankfully I know roughly how long Ive got before the inevitable happens and sometimes Im quick enough to catch it - somehow I managed to get myself outside, even though by this point I couldn't even see properly - just had to sit down on the floor in the middle of town in the pouring rain to stop myself flaking out totally.... Finally came back to some sense of normality and ended up buying myself a choco bar and a fizzy drink and just had to muster the strength to make it home but god do I feel terrible now.
Don't know whats going on, not missed meals, not eaten things I shouldn't so it doesn't make any sense for it to be coming back :( think I may go have a lie down

I agree with sarah - probably an accumulation of everything thats been going on - have a lie down for a bit and see how you feel.

Sarah - my DH uses neutrogena wash/mask, he only uses it as a wash, he also uses my cast off face scrubs and loves them. He likes S&G after shave balm too, Eau d man or something, but he will buy whatever is on offer of that sort of thing.

charlie-have a lie down and I hope you feel better soon:)

another UU :j(I don't think I will have any more for a while though:()

softlips-WIBA? maybe, really good for my lips but the stick doesn't last long so works out too expensive.

counted my UU/OUT and it has come to about 80:T including give and make up parcels, charity shop things etc. as well and actual product UU. Have roughly 90 things left though...:(

been lying down for a bit still not great but at least im at home incase i go again. Thankfuly OH knows the situation so hes there to catch me normally, but its a bit scary when it happens and im out on my own - all i could think of was if i passed out there they would call an ambulance and that was the last thing i wanted when i know how to deal with it anyway. Bit embarrasing really - places its happened before include school, days out, work, concerts, festivals, but ive always either had friends, OH or parents there when its happened - i just wish i had a proper illness rather than just "dodgy sugar levels" and form of PKU (which hardly anyone has heard of -and those that have, some people including some docs dont believe it because i dont have the typical symptoms). At least it gives me a good excuse to eat chocolate when i feel funny :p just checked my levels, considering ive had food and drink its pretty low still (5) thats what it should be at "fasting" levels -average i think it *should* is around 6 normally and 7 for after eating. My poor thumb isnt used to all the pricking these days.

:grouphug: for all those in need!xx

I have a few INs today. I really need to stop going shopping with my mother. *glances at pile of bags wondering where to begin* :rotfl:
    First Mr Postman came with...
Moisturising socks from ebay (a pair, not just 1 :rotfl: )

Then I ventured out to tesco for a card and came out with...
Erm.. a tooth whitening kit, unlikely to ever be used
A set of make up brushes (I needed these)
    A peel off face mask
Garnier skin naturals summer body lotion
    Johnsons 24hr moisturiser

Then I went to boots and got...
A selection of sponges :undecided No idea why!
2 exfoliating mitts reduced to 20p in the clearance section :j
    Liquid eyeliner

Next was Sallys and I left with..
A mini nail brush (whyyy??? :rotfl: )
    Nina pro superdry top coat
    Nina pro glittery nail polish
Hair dye bowl & brush set
...although my trolley was full at one point with various waxes, shampoos, conditioners, brushes, some straighteners etc :rotfl:

Next I decided to pop in to Aldi to look after the make up after the various threads on here and came out with...

Lacura eyeshaddow in 103 sweet rose, 302 purple, 21 opal, 42 aqua, 807 amethyst
Lacura compact powder in 10 transparent (transparent? as if I didn't feel pale enough :rotfl: )
    Lacura foundation in 10 transparent
    Lacura day cream
And 2 x their version of bio oil which i've read in reviews is really good

Then I came home and luckily I missed Mr DHL man with my BS order :rotfl:

I hope the steps at the funny farm are warm :rotfl: :rotfl:

Sorry about my whinge and moan earlier. We love DD to pieces but boy is she hard work. Poor old DS is no trouble but she turns everything into a fight :( Never mind, once she's gone through puberty her ormones will be more under control :).
We went to the hairdressers today and both have swanky new cuts. The hairdresser got very scared when we both said- "All off!" and neither of us batted an eyelid when she hacked it all off. DD now has a short bob and I have http://www.metro.co.uk/lifestyle/858469-fearne-cotton-vs-kerry-katona-hair-do-or-don-t this new one that Kerry Katona has. I'm brunette though. I love it and my sister said I look 18 again. I've just answered the door to my neighbours little boy who said "Wow, you look AWESOME!" *Blush*
